The days passed by the sun and moon rising to share the sky with each other once more. And the hunting scouting parties came back. Quinn was invited on a hunt. . . which extended to me. The herds of prey were scattered our way.

And then the day came once more as the bears lumbered out splitting up into hunting groups. "This time Silver, don't go into the wolf territory." Quinn said. "I didn't know." I whined and he smiled at me. "Well now you do." Quinn said with a smile in which I nodded at.

Lupa was next to me ears perked up as we walked through the snow. "You said your favorite meat is hog right?" Quinn asked and I nodded at that. "Hogs are a bit scarce this north, but a few wondering males make their way up here as you can tell." Quinn explained.

I nodded at that. Quinn had his spear as usual while my bow was wrapped around me with the quiver of arrows stashed as well. Lupa pranced through the snow as proud as can be head held high not a fear in the world as Eden followed behind her looking irritated.

"So what exactly needs to be hunted?" I asked running a hand through my hair as he looked over at me and smiled just a bit. "Well anything really. The fish are being brought in. Venison works wonders, the moose, hog of course and whatever else is found." Quinn explained.

I nodded at that. "All of this will be paired with the fruit and vegetables from the garden house, noodles boiled, and many other things that will be made." Quinn explained and I nodded at that as Quinn ran a hand through his thick white reflective hair with a smile.

We continued through the woods as Lupa's head snapped up and a paw went up raised in the air. Her nose flared out as she took in the scents before taking off bounding through the snow before there was the screech of rabbit and Lupa trotted back proudly.

A limp jet black bunny hung from her mouth as she presented the bunny to us proud as ever as I smiled. And so forth the rabbit was tied up by its ear as the first prize of the hunt as we continued on and Lupa proceeded to track numerous prey.

This was the first time she had really shown off her skills. Of course Quinn and I couldn't be alone considering he was the crowned prince in their eyes. He literally had a crown. . . but of course he refused to wear it. North was the crowned princess and Thaddeus was the second crowned prince.

I had no idea who was taking over though. But Quinn had the hunters and three guards following. Of course he acted like they didn't exist. The next was a deer whom Eden and Lupa fought over before Quinn threw his spear through it's neck.

And then it was put with the rest before Lupa froze. And Quinn stopped. A hog stood there. Hogs in my opinion were the best tasting, and had the most meat to eat for us. And it was a large male. But hogs were one of the most dangerous to hunt as well.

With huge tusks that could maim you if you got in the way of them. But they tasted so good. I had an arrow nocked instantly pulling it back until it reached my cheek. This was a dangerous hunt if it got to me and I had no idea if the arrow would pierce the tough hide.

But one could hope. And then I released the arrow as Lupa got ready her stance one of hunting. The arrow whizzed through the air piercing it's hide as it squealed as Lupa lunged out like a true predator as it charged at her.

Lupa jumped out of it's tusks and grabbed it's ear using her weight to slam the male down before she began tearing at it's neck as I released the next arrow. She narrowly missed it's tusks once again as it grazed her fur before Eden came in body slamming the hog.

He stood up and roared and the pig squealed. But by then it stumbled before Eden ended it's misery with a snap of it's neck as Lupa shook her fur and Eden dragged the hog back over. There was no fear in the atmosphere to my surprise.
