ROSÉ

"Jennie?"

On spur of moment, she heard mundane onomatopoeic chopping sound resonating through the atmosphere from a distant. She looks up to see choppers flying across the horizon, and three of which stalled above where Rosé was cornered, her jaw dropped at some degree upon bearing witness to such staggering occurance. The cold subtle winter wind breeze brushed up against her rose-gold hair, a lean amount of dust warding off the environment got into her eyes; distressing her clear vision, subsequent to the sudden rush of wind.

But even that didn't stop her from beaming out of fascination and relief at the light gray skies.

Succeeding the perfect timing of the choppers' entrance, then a dozen of allied vehicles and trucks rushed in. A recognizable "Park Cyber-Tech Industries" embedded on sides of the two trucks caught her eye, straining her.

"Area is now clear of civilians."

Jisoo's voice.

After finally distinguishing who's behind the server's sudden secutiry breach, Rosé couldn't help but to feel relieved even at a time like this. The vehicles revealed armed women in pure-black body-fitted suits, and knowing that had somehow empowered her in a way that she deems ludicrous. But she figured she should take it into account that there were approximately eight guns pointed at her, and one pull of the trigger could end everything, right here and right now.

Why is this feeling so familiar? She begins to question her oddly composed state.

There were approximately eight heavily armed men who surrounded her, some were uncertain of where to aim, and some seemed too keen to even remove their eyes off of Rosé. Especially Hyunki whose eyes could pierce through every soul known for the blinding anger evinced from within. He refused to draw back along with the man who's just as eager as him, standing beside him.

The man beside Hyunki seemed to give off a very different aura if it were to compare to Hyunki's; he was more terrifying than the aforementioned man could ever be. She gave in to the curiosity, wondering where the unbearable resentment had come from. Her dark orbs stared right into his, fixing in mind strands of showing silver hair and every single detail of the skin he showed.

"What did I do?" she muttered without producing any sound, he read her lips.

However, she only earned an indignant eye twitch.

"You guys, listen. Korea's Armed Forces are deployed by the Government's command to assist Park Cyber-Tech with the said incident. But they will refuse to hand Hyunki over, we have to get out of here quick."

The others made way, her expression showed no enthusiasm; only the sense of determination and fury can be seen Jennie's prepossessing face. Five tall women, armed with black riot shields accompanied her. Rosé's eyes made its way down to her father's enterprise logo ingrained into the black body-fitted suit Jennie wore, clearing her throat. A sense of betrayal soar to existence, but she chose to ignore it for her needed peace of mind.

"New to the job, all of you, I assume?" the brunette queried, breaking off the exceptional silence, "Yeah uh.. This is where you all drop your weapons, or you're gonna regret otherwise."

After her comment, the target was no longer Park Chaeyoung. Some directed their weapons at Jennie, and her associates reacted with caution, shielding her while the rest of NCT discloses their own weapons. Rosé took the opportunity to figure a way out.

Her eyes delving for an escape, occasionally stealing glances from the cautioned Jaehyun, his pistol-armed arm raised up, securing his aim at the same silver-haired man whom Rosé tentatively examined a while ago as the aforesaid male was the nearest to her and concurrently the most eager, out of all of them, to put a bullet in her head.
