(Y/N)'s P.O.V. Another flashback appeared in my head. This time, it was me in that same wretched arena that made me lose my brother. In which he died protecting me. The pain that surged through my brain that made my body feel numb made tears prick my eyes and me run out of the Victor house. Faster than ever I made my way to District 4's beach where luckily no one was there. Well, why am I expecting someone at midnight?
I sat on the dock, the waves covering my feet with a warm liquid like blanket. My brain still fought the urge to get sick, as seeing the vision in which my brothers abdomen got stabbed by the make from 10, after I shot an arrow. Then my brother's corpse fell down on the grassy floor, dead.
My brain wanted me to drown in the water and be beside my brother, though that would mean Finnick, my very good friend, would never see me again. I sighed and dipped my body in the water, and since I was only wearing a bikini, I would be able to swim easily. I dove into the water to find the silver like coral reef, the moonlight making small diamond like sparkles to glow on each coral stick. After a while of time, I rose up to catch Finnick sitting on the dock.
This scared me and I screamed a little. "Hey, don't be scared, it's just me." Finnick's comforting voice filled my ears. I sighed in relief and pulled myself up onto the dock, hugging Finnick. "Flashback again?" He asked. I slowly nodded, tears pricking my eyes and I didn't notice one slip down until I felt Finnick's hand wipe it away. I looked at him in sadness.
"I'm scared you might be the next one..." I trailed off, starting to shake a little in Finnick's arms. The blonde comforted me until I stopped crying. "I will never be, darling. I will always come back to you, no matter what." He cooed, kissing my forehead. "Always, Finnick?" I asked. He looked me in the eyes.
"Always."
