A little bit before the events of winter solider.
(3rd Person POV)
Hazel tossed and turned in her sleep, having a horrific nightmare about her mother. She whimpered and tears streamed down her cheeks.
Steve was finishing up the dishes, he had nightmares of his own, about Bucky, Peggy and his past. He heard some shuffling from his daughter's room but chose to ignore it, she moves in her sleep so it's not anything out of the ordinary.
But as he was putting the last dish away he heard her scream. He hurried and grabbed his shield, opening her door in a panic. He saw nothing but hazel crying in her sleep.
He quietly put down his shield and walked over to her bed. "Hazel." He shook her awake. "Its okay."
She shot up, her eyes burning from the tears. He hugged her and rubbed her back. "I'm here, nothing will harm you."
She was incredibly shaken from her horrible nightmare. Steve pulled back the hair from her face. ""Sleep, I'll fight the bad dreams if they come to get you."
