Chapter 14

A few days later,

Tracee who heard about Romeo told Gail and Michael it would be best to use one of her meeting rooms to have Gail see Romeo again instead of Michaels unfinished building

Gail agreed to that, so Michael contacted Romero via his (Michael's) assistant and made the appointment for the afternoon

Gail left work a few hours earlier to be on/in time and was the first to arrive finding Will and Tracee putting some finishing touches to one of their designes

"I want more sparkles on there" Tracee mentioned shaking her head

"I'll ask Brittany to buy more in the morning" Will sighed

"Don't forget it" Tracee told him

"I won't, but it's my day with the monsters so I've to go home or their nanny will kill me" Will shook his head

"Oh hush I met your babies they're not monsters they're adorable" Tracee told him

"You want them for a weeks? You'll take that back" Will replied

"Just go home" Tracee rolled her eyes

"See you tommorrow" Will told her and left, greeting Gail on his way out

"You're nervous?" Tracee asked her sister

"Yeah a little, I mean I once was supposed to be marrying him" Gail stated

"I'm sure he has a reason for what he did" Tracee mentioned

"I don't care what his reason was he could've told me then" Gail scoffed rolling her eyes

Later,

While Gail was finishing up her latte in the meeting room and Tracee was back in her office down the hall when Michael entered the room

"He's downstairs making his way here now" Michael infromed her

"Ok" Gail nodded and took a deep breath "You'll be outside this room right?" She asked

"Yes" Michael nodded and left the room to wait in the hallway so he could stop Gail and Romeo if things go out of hands

Romeo stepped into room finding Gail with her arms crossed and her brow raised at him

She didnt expect this muscular guy to be 'her' Romeo 'her' Romeo was this cute nerdy guy with a too big glasses instead of this muscular guy with no glasses

"Eh....um....hi?" Romeo cleared his troath after seeing Gail, she was still as beautiful as he remembered, maybe even more attractive than before, he realized how much he truly missed her the past few years

"Eh um fuck you" Gail scoffed shaking her head at him

"I deserved that one" Romeo replied calmly

"Yes you do, what the hell you been doing? You ditched me for a bitch at the gym?" Gail pointed at his muscular self

"No, you know me I would never do that to you" Romeo told her honesty

"You still left me on our wedding day! Do you fucking know how much that hurt?" Gail snapped while making her over to him "It's a really low blow to dump someone like that" she continued and tried to push him but she was no match to this version of him

"I did it because I love you" Romeo told her

"That's a funny way to show someone you love them by dumping them on their wedding day" Gail sniffed and pushed him harder this time but it still didn't have any effect

"The army called a day before and I thought it would've been best for you to resent me instead of having to bury me if I would've been killed on the battlefield" Romeo explained

"Bullshit!" Gail sniffed hitting his chest this time instead of trying to push him

"No, I really was in the army" Romeo told her trying to ignore the pain of Gail hitting his chest

"You could've fucking told me!" Gail cried and continued to hit his chest repeatedly "Breaking my heart was never a good idea!" She sobbed burying her head in his chest

"I know and I truly regret it, I also broke my heart when I broke yours" Romeo told her and carefully rubbed her back to comfort her

"That's why you began working out?" Gail asked trough her tears and looked at him

"Yes" Romeo nodded and rubbed his chest "You're quite strong too you know" he mentioned

"Well you deserved it" Gail told him and wiped her tears

"Yeah I did" Romeo sighed

-- meanwhile,

Tracee had joined Michael in the hallway and had pressed her ear against the door to hear what was said

"Aw I think they're making up" Tracee whispered

"Nobody is hurt?" Michael asked her

"I still hear both of them talk" Tracee replied

"Now What?" Gail asked

"We could start getting to know each other again?" Romeo sugguested

"Like dating?" Gail asked

"Or as friends?" Romeo mentioned

"Ok.....you still have the same phone number?" Gail asked

"Yes, the same adress too" Romeo replied

"Do you still have my number?" Gail asked

"Yes" Romeo nodded

"Ok, well um call me if you found a time and place for a date" Gail replied

"This Friday night at central park?" Romeo sugguested

"Ok" Gail nodded

"I think they're done talking" Tracee mentioned and quickly pulled Michael in a passionate kiss to avoid them from finding out she was eavesdropping on them

"Really sis?" Gail shook her head at her sister

"Oh hi, I thought you were already done" Tracee mentioned pretending to be clueless

"Sis don't lie I saw you getting up from the floor and pull your husband in a kiss" Gail replied

"Oh....So you guys will date again?" Tracee asked changing the subject

"Kind of" Gail answered "It's just a start of getting to know each other again" She added

"Just don't ever break her heart again cause I will break you" Tracee told Romeo, meaning bussines

"And I will let you" Romeo answered before he left

"I think you were a mobster in your past life, you're scary when you treath someone" Michael mentioned and smiled at his wife

"Only people who try to hurt the ones I love" Tracee replied and kissed him "By the way, if I'm this mobster you're my trophy husband" She smirked at him

"Ugh please keep yall's role playing behind closed doors" Gail mentioned

"Technically this is my building so if I want to I can pick any room here, close it and-" Tracee began

"Gross" Gail interrupted her "I'll see you guys at home once you finished reproducing, bye" She mentioned and left

"I'm almost done here anyway, see you at home" Tracee mentioned to her husband

"Don't stay here for too long, ok?" Michael replied

"I won't" Tracee answered
