A month later,

Both kaylee, Elijah and Katherine and Joseph had gone home two weeks ago after spending some time at the penthouse getting to know little Melody and cuddling her all day making sure her parents could catch up on some sleep since they were up all night taking care of her

For Gail and Romeo their work got busy since the new school semester officially began having Romeo busy with the gym classes and for Gail work was busy as always since there's always someone suing someone else over something or nothing but it's her and her fellow lawyers job's to figure it out with or without the help of judges and jury's

Tracee started at office again last week, only a few days a week she said but it was turning into a sixty hour work week already, she did make sure there's enough breastmilk for Melody, if she's not home she makes sure her assistant Brittany will deliver it at the penthouse and put it in the refrigerator

"I got five more" Brittany mentioned closing the refrigerator, finding Michael about to enter the kitchen while holding Melody who woke up from her nap

"When is Tracee coming home?" Michael asked her

"I don't know when I logged out Mrs Tracee and Will were discussing fabrics for one of the upcoming lines" Brittany answered

"Of course, she's working three diffrent lines now, right?" Michael asked and shook his head

"The baby line, the teen mom collection and something new I don't know what yet collection for next year" Brittany confirmed

"Ok, could you tell Tracee her daughter kind of needs her too" Michael replied

"She knows that, I mean delivering the milk is my new duty" Brittany mentioned

"Ask your boss when was the last time she physically held her daughter?" Michael replied

"I'm sure that was this morning before she went to the office" Brittany guessed

"She did not come home last night" Michael replied and shook his head "I bet she won't even notice if Melody and I go back to California" He added

"Should I tell Mrs Tracee you're going to California?" Brittany asked him

"No, it's just- never mind, thank you for dropping off the baby milk, I'll see you tomorrow I guess" Michael sighed

"Probably, have a nice evening sir, bye" Brittany replied before she left

"You know I think you'd like California if you're anything like daddy who doesn't like the cold temperature's here in New York, it's much nicer in California" Michael mentioned smiling at little Melody who made her happy baby sounds "Let's get you fed before auntie Gail comes home to steal you from daddy" He told her

Just as he was done feeding Melody Gail come home, finding them on the couch

"There's my favourite little girl" Gail smiled taking Melody over from Michael "Did you eat yet?" She asked cuddling her niece who made her happy baby sounds

"Yes she just finished her bottle" Michael answered

"And did you eat yet?" Gail asked him

"A sandwich" Michael answered shrugging his shoulders

"Melly needs you to eat properly you know? T has a caterer delivering three meals a day at the office so she makes enough milk for Melly" Gail mentioned cuddling with her niece who happily squealed everytime Gail called her Melly because she tickled her little belly at that moment

"Where's Romeo by the way? Don't you need to have dinner with him?" Michael asked taking Melody back in his arms and held her close

"Its gym camp the next two weeks" Gail sighed
