Mila's Pov.

Something caused the buildings to start cracking, it wasn't just of age. With my brother by my side we ran as fast as we could towards the scene. Eventhough we were just arguinging that doesn't mean people have to die. Not as long as we have the power to do something.

We finally arrived and it looked horrible. There was police, firemen and ambulances everywhere trying to help the masses. Or even helping people get out of the buildings, that had caught fire making it just more dramatic.

"STEP AWAY! RUN IT ISN'T SAFE HERE!" A cop shouted at me and my brother. I gave my brother a shove towards the other building, with a small smirk.

"I'll handle this one" I told him before he ran of with a smirk bigger than mine. This would soon be a race against time but for now I'll need to secure the area.

"Are there still people inside?"
"Didn't you hear what I just said run, now!" The cop awnsered. The screaming from everywhere was deafing and definitely not helping with calming down.

"Are there still people inside!" I repeated this time a lot more stern, and taking a breath to calm myself before continuing. "There are lives at stake so awnser me!"

He actually looked surprised but after he just softly nodded "4 more". He handed me a plan of the building with 10 rooms circled but 7 crossed out. "Are you sure that you want to do this? It could be suicide!" He asked, it looked like he actually cared. Heh heh doesn't even know me.

"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, in this case those people need someone and I'll help. Even if I die." I had started to walk towards the building while saying this. Trying to reassure him in my one unique way.

I ran inside map in my hand and chose the highest room of the three. The smoke would be worse there so going down would gradually get better. It was the top floor that I needed to reach.

As I was evacuating everyone, safely away from the collapsing buildings. I felt a burning pain in lower back, getting a strangeled sound of pain out of me.

Having decided to ignore it, I carefully continued. Taking a look at my right I could see my brother helping a drunken blonde to walk away of the chaos. She clung to her last beer bottles still taking a few swigs. A soft smile grew on my face seeing him try to help her.

Out of nowhere I got shoved by a man trying to flee the scene. Not expecting this I fell to the ground. The cracking from the building was now more evident. Looking up I could see the wall crumbling and falling down.

It was shattered into rather larger peices. After a second of laying motionless I quickly rolled to my left and narrowly dodged one. Where I was just now was a big peice of wall.

Looking up again there was a smaller peice falling towards me. Not having a lot of room to dodge, since I had rolled to the last bit of stable wall. The other wall had trapped me in place.

Knowing that if I tried to get up and run, I wouldn't have enough time. I just closed my eyes accepting my death.

When the wall made contact with my stomach a loud scream came from my throat. Opening my eyes I could see where it had landed. The smaller wall hadn't fully landed on me, instead it was propped up against the wall peice on my right.

The building continued to collapse on top of me, yet the most pain evident came from my back. The same burning pain from before now having returned in ten fold. Turing my head a little to the left I could barely see the fast spreading liqued.

Just the colour made my skin pale. It was red, blood red. (heheh you get it 'blood' red XD) I could feel a tear run down my face.

The pain was unbearable. Against all odds I chose too call for help, but my cry for help went unheard as the sound of people screaming and buildings collapsing was louder.

I felt more weight landing on top of me while slowly getting surrounded by brick wall peices.

My legs were being crushed now too. Somehow my head still hadn't gotten hit yet, as I thought this I saw a lot of bricks falling towards me. One of them was bound to strike me.

Yet fate had other plans the bricks that were supposed to kill me, were to large and got propped up just an inch from my face. I was now starting to sob but no soind came out of me, just silent tears running down my face.

My sight slowly got blurrier as I continued to bleed out. The weight didn't lessen my blood flow. The only thing I could still clearly see was the walls keeping me in place.

I concentrated as much as I could in this situation, and heard the sound of glass shattering followed by a scream. Not wanting to give up just yet I called out for help just one last time. Maybe my brother heard me and would help, just maybe.

Heh I didn't even get the chance to say goodbye to him. If he doesn't come then this is goodbye.

The last clear image was now blurry too. Slowly I was blacking out due to bloodloss. My eyes were too heavy to keep open, and against better judgement I closed them. Not having it in me too keep them open.

The sounds of chaos, screaming and collapsing buildings started to fade away, and I finally felt at peace.
