George Harrison, formerly known as a Beatle, had just divorced Patty Boyd. It was a shock to everyone, especially you. George was a childhood friend you had lost contact with. You had a little schoolboy/schoolgirl crush on him. It was a very prominent thought in your head after hearing the news.

After receiving the news you decided to try and get back in contact with him. You called your mom first, who called her friend, who called George's mom. George's mom handed over the number and wished you the best of luck.

The following morning you called George, no answer. You went on with your day but always held the thought of talking to him in the back of your head. You decided it was reasonable to try again later.

So that's what you did when you got home. Although before you could you received a message from George's personal team, asking who you were. To that you responded with "Y/n? I knew you back in school and was wondering if you want to get a cuppa tea sometime" then you retired for the night.

The first thing you did when you woke up was go to your phone and sure enough there was another message. This time it was actually George. He said "Hey y/n! I briefly remember you but yes it would be nice to get together sometime". You smiled at the message as if he had said it too your face. It was something about the sincerity of his voice that made you a bit giddy.

You followed up that message with an actual phone call with him:

"Hey, y/n right" he said, you replied with yes. George followed that with "so what date will work for you". "May 15th work for you?" you questioned. He replied with a quick yep and ended the call with a 'see you then'.

You didn't think much of it until the actual day came around. George told you to meet him at his hotel room. He said it would be easier to get you there than for him to go to a coffee shop. He also added that the paparazzi could be wild at times.

George sent a taxi for you. You thought it was very polite of him. You even had a genuine conversation with the driver about The Beatles. He said he wasn't a big fan and you couldn't help but snort. Nearly everyone you knew loved them, especially your school friends. You thought that might've just been a Liverpool thing though.

When you finally arrived at the hotel, George's body guard was there to escort you to his room. It felt like a bit much but he was an ex-beatle after all.  The guard didn't talk at all, not until you got to his room and knocked.

"George, we're here" the large man said. You heard some movement and a few foot steps and just like that you saw him. George Harrison. A boy you had a little schoolgirl/boy crush on. He was right in front of you yet again, you couldn't help but stare.

After a few seconds George said "y/n?" In a seemingly worried tone. You snapped out of it and nervous said "yes, George?". He smiled and told you to follow him. You complied.

You took a seat and took your cuppa into hand. "So how's life been lately George" you said starting the conversation. "It's been, well, interesting. Everything's been so weird lately" he said taking a sip of tea. After a few minutes of silence, you guys started reminiscing about old school stories.

George recalled the one time you stole his biscuit, at the time it felt like the end of the world, but now it was only but a small memory. At least that was his take on it.

You recalled the times he would tease you and your friends for simply being girls. It was nothing sexist, just how the playground worked.

The thing that stood out the most to George of your memories was the fact that you admitted you had a crush on him. It was kind of a shock because he felt the same at the time.

For the remainder of the time you spent together you talked and rejoiced about everything, but never once did the idea of kissing you leave his mind;

"Thank you for having me" you said politely. "You're welcome y/n" he paused "but may I talk to you in the hall" he asked. You nodded and opened the door. George shut it behind him.

Instead of words leaving his mouth, he planted a kiss on your lips. You kissed back immediately.
