It's Tuesday and I felt as if I'm still working to recover from a weekend with Mija and Suji and the KPOP study sessions that they felt the need to create in order to educate me as they so dauntingly put it.

I learned way more than I wanted to especially about them.

More information to process on top of the answers he's waiting on.

Maybe I'm being stupid about this. Maybe I should just go with the flow.

Or maybe I should just...No! I can't do that. I couldn't bare the fact of hurting him because I was too chicken to deal with his real life.

This keeps getting harder.

I dragged myself up the steps of my flat carrying two bags filled with unnecessary items from the market. He said he would text me when he landed but I hadn't heard from him yet. It's a possibility that he has returned from New York but I'm not about to get into the habit of worrying and keeping tabs.

Tonight, I will keep basking in my emotions while baking a dark chocolate cake. I've been thinking about this all weekend long and I was too tired to make it on yesterday.

I finally reached my door and noticed I had company awaiting. His light blue hair shimmered in the lighting but wasn't nearly as illuminating as the smile that pursed his lips.

He seemed happy.

The grin on his face amplified as I got closer. He extended his arm out and I quirked my brow. I'm not sure what he was thinking as it would be impossible to hug him. He glanced down at my occupied hands before meeting my gaze, lifting a brow as well.

His smile shined more, releasing a light chuckle that echoed between us as he took a bag from me.

I'm not weak but that was a relief to my arms.

Using my new freedom, I reached for my keys and opened the door as we both entered my flat. I walked to my counter and place the bag down; he sat his next to mine.

Before I could attempt my next move, he laid his hand on one side of the counter, trapping my exit while his other hand snaked around my waist. He gently held my body against his. My gaze instantly fell onto the small mole on the corner of his bottom lip.

I wanted to kiss it.

As my eyes gradually moved up to his, the beating of my heart quickened, watching him look down on me.

His hooded chestnut irises wandered every inch of my features, gaze lingering a little longer at the tiny imperfections on my face.

He occasionally would grasp at his bottom lip with his teeth and release it only to stare more, scoffing quietly at his thoughts.

Was he filling a need? Have I been so out of sorts that I couldn't tell anymore?

He pulled me closer to him. The feeling of his body against mine was warming even though my insides were chilling. My eyes fluttered as I felt my heart about to give way to the point that tears were threatening to surface, bringing me to the realization of how much I missed being in his arms.

Without warning, his lips took mine.

I felt as if the warmth between us exuded and created an aura around us that sung sweet melodies.

His lips, soft and plush, entwining with care not to push himself to point of greed but keeping the balance to a sensual dance as my knees weakened with every stroke of his kiss.

The hand that held steady to the counter was released as it moved along my back with the other.

His touch were the flames of the fire that silenced the chills I felt only seconds before.
