"Symere calm down " i say holding onto symeres shakily limp body. Hes been getting really bad nightmares about him and its starting to make me mad that he let that nigga continue to hurt him but at the same time he cant do much cause hes abusive towards him.
Symere continues to scream and kick "noo im sorry jeffrey im sorry" symere screams while pulling the covers off and on him. I shake him tirelessly "its okay , its okay" i whisper in his ear while embracing him in my arms , i place small kisses on his neck. He sobs lightly and sniffles, "im scared jah , im scared of him " symere says crying on my shoulder . "you need to leave him" i say patting his back , "i cant jah i cant he'll hurt me , more importantly he'll hurt you" symere says pulling away from my shoulder and looming me in my eyes.
"Symere you cant worry about me , only yourself " i say looking deep into his dark brown eyes. "no , i love you jahseh . He can hurt me hes been doing it since i was seven but you , no i wont have it " symere says sternly. "I love you too sy" i say back to him placing a kiss on his lips. Im the only person who knows about jeffreys existence , symere told me one day about a year 4 years ago about him one day when jeffrey had beaten really bad .
I'll remember that day for the rest of my life , ive never seen symere that .... Vulnerable and hurt .
