Maisie POV
After I got stitched up Tony took me up to the penthouse floor sat me of the couch.
"Pepper told me how you just told her about how you were hurt, why didn't you say anything sooner if it happened this morning?" Tony asked
I just shrugged
"I didn't think it was important." I said
"Of course it was important you needed stitches!" Tony said
"Sorry" I mumbled looking down at my hands
Tony took a deep breath he go down to my level
"Listen you need to let us know when your hurt or not feeling well, if not were not gonna know and we can't help you do you under stand?" Tony said
I nodded
i feel so tired though
Tony looked at his watch
"Dam it's late" he said
picking me up i didn't even put up a fight, i was so tired that i felt like i was in slow motion. my eyelids became super heavy then I let darkness take me.
Tony POV
kid must be exhausted if she fell asleep before we even got to the room I thought, come to think of it the kid is super light. as I carried her to the spare room on my way there I see Pepper she smiled at me.
"Here I'll get her ready for bed." Pepper said
I nodded
Pepper took her from my arms and walked down the hallway with her.
Pepper POV
as i changed her since she was too tired to do anything I seen something horrifying scars on her back i let out a gasp.
"who did this to you?" I said softly then put a shirt on her
and tucked her in bed shutting the door quietly
do I tell Tony about this or do I confront her about it? I thought as I walked down the hallway.
Tony POV
I was down stairs with the avengers trying to figure out why HYDRA would be taking kids?
"Maybe Kids have a higher chance in surviving the experiments?" Steve said
"In any case we need to find these kids and put a stop to this!" Fury said
"How many so far?" I asked
"ten in a week." Fury said
I let out a frustrated sigh
"Okay so all we need to do is find the base they are taking these kids to, and rescue them." I said
