Tony looked up at the ceiling
"Jarvis what's going on?" Tony asked
"It appears you have a visitor sir," The AI said
Tony nodded I followed him we get to the entrance and I see the one person I've been afraid of telling everyone about, I gulped
I stayed behind Tony I felt my heart beating 100 miles a minute,
it was me Tony and Pepper at this point,
"Can I help you?" Tony asked
"Yes, in a matter of fact you can Mr Stark, my name is Gretta I'm head of the orphanage down town," She said trying to sound nice but she's not
"I'm sorry I'm not making no donations at this time," Tony said
Gretta chuckled
"I think you misunderstand why I'm here Mr Stark," Gretta said
I can feel myself shaking, Pepper looks down at me seeing my state I'm frozen with fear this never happens,
"Have I" Tony said
"Yes, it's come to my attention that you have found a runaway of mine," Gretta said smiling down at me
"Excuse me?" Tony said
"Mr Stark, Maisie is a runaway," Gretta said
"I Think you have the wrong impression lady, Maisie is my daughter," Tony said starting to get annoyed with her attitude
"Not as far as the State is concerned she is under the protection of the orphanage," Gretta said
"Have you reported her missing or running away?" Pepper asked
"Well no," Gretta said
"How long ago did she runaway?" Tony asked
"Three years ago," Gretta said
"And it took you this long to find her?" Pepper asked
"Listen I don't want to make this harder than it has to be," Gretta said
"Then don't leave her alone," Tony said
"Look Mr Stark you could either hand her over now no harm done, or I'm sure you're so called fans would love to hear about you kidnapping a child," Gretta said
"What did you just say?" Tony said getting angry
"I'll go," I said looking down
"Maisie?" Tony and Pepper looked at me upset
"I'll go, so you don't get hurt out of this," I said
"Maisie," Tony said getting down to my level
I hugged him sticking a flash drive in his coat pocket,
"Just.. don't forget about me.." I said
"Never would think about it, wait for me I'll come for you I promise," Tony said
I knew he knew that his hands were tied about this I nodded
"Come on Maisie," Gretta said
I nodded walking out with her looking back one last time at my father I've come to know, knowing once I get back to the orphanage I'm in for a world of pain, knowing I might not make it out alive this time,I feel a tear fall down my cheek,
Tony POV
I stormed into the lab,
"We have to think of something!" I said as I paced back and forth
"I know but we have to be smart about this," Bruce said
the other avengers are here also
"what do we have on Gretta?" I asked
"Nothing, No criminal record she's clean as a whistle," Natasha said
I pace back and forth putting my hands in my pocket and I feel something that I know I didn't put there I pull it out it was a flash drive labeled "DAD"
"That dam kid," I said smirking
"Okay sweetheart what do you have for me this time?" I said putting the drive in the computer
then Maisie came into view we all watched
"Tony avengers if you are listening to this that means the worst has happened Gretta found me, when you found me I wasn't being completely honest with you, I was hiding something, I've spent the past few years of my freedom trying to expose Gretta for what she is, her real name is Gretchen anderson, and she is one of the head agents in the east HYDRA facility, she is the one kidnapping children, If she did indeed get me I need you to do me a favor,"
Maisie looked serious now that I see it the kid has my serious face,
"If there comes a decision that you have to choose, taking her down or saving me, take her down, don't let her cause anymore pain and suffering don't let her get away with all the things she's been hiding behind her orphanage doors, don't let this confession go to waste take her down.... for me," Maisie said
everyone was silent,
"One more thing, If this Is the last time me and everyone talking, Bruce you are like the caring crazy uncle I never had, Pietro and Wanda I always enjoyed our movie and hide and seeks, Clint Nat I'm gonna miss our little arguing Thor I'm going to miss your loud booming voice, Steve I'm gonna miss you're mothering ways Pepper I'm gonna miss you're mother and caring ways and lastly Tony, mommy always talked about you, I never dreamed of meeting you, and now that I have it's everything I could have hoped for and I wouldn't trade anything for it, and I'm so so glad I brought in you're helmet and you tracked me down.....and I love you daddy and I always will...." Maisie was in tears then turned off the camera
"Suit up were taking her down," I said almost crying
