Maisie POV
daddy would ask me a question then I would respond by writing my answer on the note pad with my good arm,
"Why didn't you tell me it was her, why did you feel you needed to keep it a secret from me?" Daddy said with his arms crossed
I wrote down on the note pad,
'I wanted to gather my evidence and I didn't want to risk any of you getting hurt, she had powerful connection who knows what she would have done,' I wrote and handed it to him,
"Maisie, we are heroes and adults we could have handled it," Tony said
"Not her, she's smart and cunning I'm not sure the evidence I gathered will keep her locked up" I wrote down,
"She won't get out, I promise that," He said kissing my forehead,
I felt my eyes slowly drift shut,
Tony POV
as soon as Maisie fell asleep, I stood up, I walk into the main room of the tower to see Steve,
"Hey how's Maisie?" Bucky asked
"She's dealing, she's resting right now, Steve can you watch her, I have some things I need to take care of," I said in a stern voice
"Sure..." Steve said confused
I went to my office opening a safe and grabbing a few files, walking out I made my way to the garage only to be met by Natasha,
"What do you want Nat, I'm busy," I said walking
"I can see that, but I thought you would be staying by Maisie's side until she was better?" Natasha said
"I will, but this can't wait," I said hitting the button to unlock my car,
"Whatever you're doing I'm coming with," She said
I opened the car door,
"No you're not," I said
She slammed the car door shut blocking me from it,
"Yes I am, look I can see you care about Maisie, but don't think for a second that you're the only one," She said glaring at me,
"Fine, get in," I said opening the drivers side again
we get in front of the courthouse,
I open the doors to the courtroom, just as the judge was about to free that bitch that beat my daughter,
"I would like to make a statement!" I said
every one started mumbling and talking,
"Tony Stark what is he doing here?" I heard someone say
"shouldn't he be accepting a award somewhere?" Another mumbled
"Order! Order!" The judge yelled slamming his hammer,
"Mr. Stark we are in the middle of a important hearing," He said
"Oh I know that is why I am here I would like to represent myself," I said
"Getta here," I said pointing at her
"Also known as Gretchen Anderson, is a liar I have gathered a tremendous amount of evidence against this woman not only did she lie about her Identity, but who she really is, she takes kids in she pretends to be the nurturing type and then she beats them tortures them, she finds anyway to cause them harm!" I said
"Objection!" The lawyer said
"Sustained," The judge said
"Are you going somewhere with this Mr Stark?" The judge said
"Yes," I said
I bring up the video from my suit of Greta beating my little girl,
"Maisie Grey, trusted Greta and look what she did to her, a child that had done nothing wrong a child who was depending on this woman to take care of her!" I said looking at the jury
The jury watched in horror what she did,
and I handed them pictures of Maisie now,
"Maisie survived but barley," I said showing them the pictures
I put both my hands on the railing in front of the jury looking at them serious,
"If you let this woman free, what's stopping her from going after your children, or you're children's children or anyones child in this courtroom," I said
"and I will answer you, she won't that woman is a monster," I said
"Thank you Mr. Stark," the judge said
me and Natasha sat down as the jury came back to an agreement,
"how does the jury find the defendant?" The judge said
"We the jury find Gretchen Anderson Guilty on all counts," The jury said
"Very well, the defendant will be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole she will be escorted to a federal prison the jury is excused," the Judge said
"Tony I've got to say that was very impressive," Natasha said
I smirked,
"I try," I said
"where to next?" She asked
"To see a friend of mine," I said as we walked down the hall from the courtroom,
I knocked on the door,
"Come in," I heard a voice say,
He looked up to see me,
"Tony Stark!" Tim said getting up hugging me,
"How have you been man?" He asked
"Not bad, this is my friend Natasha," I said
"Nice to meet you," He said shaking her hand
"What brings you bye" He asked
"I need a favor," I asked
