I AM BACK WITH ANOTHER UBER LONG REVIEW. YES. IT'S LONGER THAN MY LAST ONE.

ANYWAY, SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG. I MADE THIS AS IN-DEPTH AS POSSIBLE TO MAKE UP FOR THE TIME, THOUGH IT REMAINS TO BE SEEN IF IT'D BE HELPFUL OR ENTERTAINING.

IN ANY CASE, ENJOY.

Um...

I have a few mixed feelings about this book. Overall, it's not very well written, and I don't feel connected to the characters and the world enough to make me want to stick around to see what happens next.

Grammar is horrendous (major headache), and I was left very confused by the time I finished the last chapter (Ch. 15 Taboo or what?) when writing this.

I can't really say I like the characters, and I think the plot is kind of all over the place.

I will say that it has some potential, though, and it can get pretty humourous at times.

However, for most of the novel, I was left confused and bored. Despite being one of the shorter books I had to read, it actually took me a while to sit and read through it all, and quite often, I had to take a break from reading after a paragraph or two.

The Mission is a sort of reincarnation/wuxia novel, which I am in no way familiar with, so that may have played a part in my confusion of the overall tone and direction. But the poor exposition and zero emotional struggle definitely doesn't help in establishing anything.
