i know it'll never happen
i want a glimpse
at what i can't have
it's not because
i'm lonely
i've survived until today
i love the thrill of this,
the puns
the jokes
the way you leave me speechless
or laughing until
i can't breathe
i'm happy when
i have you
you don't make me feel complete, no
i just feel alive again
pushing if and don'ts away
i'm taking risks
but treading carefully
through the waves
i know it wont happen-
we wont be forever
you & me
just want to live in the moment
and believe we're meant to be.
