"Beautiful.." Maks whispered kissing Meryl hand. She just woke up from the coma, the doctors were making just her condition was stable before moving her out of the I.C.U. That's when Maks got the call.
•Maks POV•
"One second babe, I'm getting a call.." Maks stepped out of the room, as he took the call. "Hello?" He mumbled
"Maks! Get your ass down here right now, the police are arresting Val!" Alex screamed. "What?? Okay be there in one moment." He hung up the phone as ran downstairs.
Val was getting put into the back of the cop car by the time Maks arrived. "What the f*ck is going on?" Maks screeched. "Val, He called the police on himself.." Alex answered, Teddy, Nicole and Serge sat on the side silently watching the horror unfold.
Maks strongly approach the police officer. "Is there a problem sir?" He asked angrily
"And who are you?" The police officer lashed back.
"His brother, now that we have that covered mind telling me what the f*ck going?" Just then Alex and Serge stepped in. "I'm sorry I just need answers.." Maks broke down, "Okay. Well this gentleman called us confessing to a murder, when we got here we didn't find a body, but he swears he killed somebody."
Maks was confused, he knew his brother would never killed anybody what was he talking about?
"Sir I swear my brother would never do such a thing, can I at least talk to him?"
The police officer nodded and opened the door, "Get up." He said heavily. Val stood up out of the car and stood on the side.
"Bro.. What's happening?" Maks asked confused
"I'm a murderer now, don't you see that?" Val cried
"What are you talking about? We both know you would never do such a thing.."
Val shook his head, "You idiot, can't you see? I killed your future kids. Thanks to me, I ruined both your dreams. Now Meryl can't have kids, it's MY fault." Val replied
"Don't..do..this.." Maks whispered
"Do what? Tell the truth? Maks can't you let me take some god damn responsibility for once?"
"No.." Maks whispered
"Just stop Maks, you know I'm right. I messed up everything." Val cried
"Val! Your the idiot! Can't YOU see? Of course I was upset but that doesn't mean that I'm mad. Your my brother I could never be mad or upset at you. or any of you, everything happens for reason though God who knows maybe, maybe Meryl wasn't supposed to have kids. You can't just blame yourself. I got everything I need right this moment. Bro we're family forever.. But you're just gonna lock yourself up in jail for 10 years? For something that was out of any of our control?" Maks screeched
"Maks.. it's Meryl.. She needs you..." Nicole whispered checking her phone..
Maks stared at Val.
"Forgiveness..."
