Part 62: Go to meet grandpa

Singto turned around, removed the AirPod from his ears, and calmly looked over at Krist.

"Oh, you're back."

Krist lifted his head, the tears that were on the verge of falling suddenly shrank back. What kind of a conversation starter is "oh, you're back'?"

" P, weren't P just, hey, P is not angry?"

" Angry about what?"

Was he dreaming just now? There's no way.

" Just now at the club, weren't P -" Krist just couldn't figure out what was going on, did Singto have schizophrenia?

Singto sat up, placed the AirPod on the coffee table, and said gently: "I'm just teasing you, don't take it seriously."

These words were like a spell that kept going around in circles by Krist's ear, making him dizzy. It took him a long time to recover. Again and again, he was played by Singto. He took everything in his hands and threw them all at Singto.

" P horrible person, P fooled me again, is P so bored of having nothing to do, childish enough to play this damn trick again? I curse P to never have a son, your daughter will have no breasts."

Singto caught everything Krist threw one by one: "Watch your behaviour."

" There's no way for me to have good behaviour when I'm with P. I was born to be played by P aren't I. I can also become angry, P wait and see, P just wait, wait for the day when P meet the ugliest woman in the world."

Krist always had one very obvious shortcoming, when he's angry he'll curse and become very outspoken. While Krist was throwing his fit, Singto suddenly spoke again.

"Grandpa just gave me a call, he told me to bring you to meet him tomorrow."

" Bring a dog with you when you go see him, I'm busy."

Right after he finished saying this sentence, his brain received the meaning of Singto's words, his actions stopped like a television that's been paused, and all of his movements froze in mid-air.

" P, P is lying right."

" When have I ever lied to you?"

" P is always lying to me."

But Singto has never used his family as a joke. This time, it's probably true. Krist suddenly panicked, with his hands holding his face, he paced back and forth in the living room.

" How could it be this sudden, what should I do, should I prepare anything? What does your grandfather like? What does he hate? Which outfit would be appropriate to wear? What kind of gift would be suitable?"

" Why are you so nervous, it's not like he eats people."

" If he can raise a person like you, then perhaps he does eat people."

" Then bring him some human flesh."

" Stop joking around, right now we're talking about meeting the parents, be a little more serious."

" Okay okay, you can do as you see fit."

Krist couldn't sleep well that night at home. As soon as he got home, he started to research what hairstyles and clothes elderly people liked the most, went to get a haircut, bought some new clothes, and early in the next morning, he planned to go out to buy fruits and a flower basket. Although everything was well prepared, he was still worried. He had heard many times about Singto's grandfather, he was the one who raised Singto, the one who supported him and Singto's relationship. He just couldn't let him down. He restlessly tossed and turned late into the night until he tiredly fell asleep. The next morning, he woke up naturally without needing an alarm. His parents were still asleep so he left a note on the table, then checked himself in the mirror, and went out.
