" that's how it all happened. You should have seen her face after I threw the torn paper on her. It was priceless " Jafar laughed at what Sadiq told him. Sadiq summarized all that happened today at work to Jafar most especially the rich girl he came encountered. He just couldn't hold it in that he had to gist his friend, Jafar.

They both were seated in their self-contained apartment which they rented. The two were best friends since secondary school and because they were still jobless they had to join money to secure this little apartment in which they live.

" she needs to be thought a lesson. She is way too rude for her own good" Sadiq shakes his head in disgust.

Jafar settled himself on the queen size bed they share, he was going through some books and also listening to what Sadiq was telling him " I wish I was there to see her reaction. Nevertheless whose daughter do you think she is? "

Sadiq shrugged " I don't know"

Jafar sniggered " who would have thought that the two of you would meet twice a day?  I call that fate. Who knows, maybe you two might end up together "

" God forbid, I reject it. I can never be with someone as rude and spoilt as that thing. Anyways, how did your day go? "

" same as usual, still jobless. All the places I went to, said the same thing and I'm already sick and tired wallahi. I don't want to die doing this mechanic work, we need to act fast and not watch our lives being wasted away just like that" jafar said sadly

"Moreover, you still have more chances than I do, don't let your pride overrule you. Just do what your old man requests you to do"

Sadiq was already getting pissed off at what jafar said " don't go there right now, I don't need his help. For all I care he can rot in hell. Please don't ever bring this topic up ever again" he stood up from the chair he was sat and took one of the folder towel laying on the chair.

" I'm so......

Sadiq angrily entered the bathroom before Jafar could apologize. Jafar shrugged and continued reviewing the book in his hand. I will apologize later,  thought jafar.

He is in the shower thinking of what Jafar said. Should I accept my father's offer as jafar had said? Am I too prideful for my good? If I should go back home won't my father and brother make fun of me after our last arguments? Ya Allah sees me through, why are things hard for me, please forgive me for all the sins I've committed, please ya Allah.

"arhhhhhhhhhh, I hate him " Rahama screamed into her pillow. How dare him, how dare that good-for-nothing mechanic man disgraces me like that in front of people. I hate him so much.

She was busy thinking of how to plan the mechanic's death that she didn't know when her door was opened. Yasirah, stood by the door as she watch her stepdaughter using the pencil to hit the pillow .what is wrong with her this time, she thought.

She isn't sure whether to interfere or just walk out of the room. But she remembers what her husband had said, he once told her to please work things out with his daughter even if she had to try harder. He was tired of seeing his wife and daughter avoiding each other like a plague.

Yasirah sighed and recite a little prayer for what she was about to do. She knew how Rahama could be a little dramatic or should she say, rude. That girl is too overly pampered for her good, any man who gets to marry her has a lot of work to do.

She cleared her throat to gain Rahama's attention but it was still in vain because the girl was already killing the pillow. Who might have annoyed her this time?
