Can looked up to Aziz Bey. He valued his insight, and admired his gut instinct. Growing up, Can remembered often how his father always made choices based on his heart and his head. That perfect balance always seemed to work for Aziz Bey. And Aziz was always invincible. He was filled with strength and knowledge how to use his skills for betterment of those around him. If he ever struggled, he never showed it. And that is how Can chose to go through his life as well. Whenever Can showed up at the Fikri Harika he was greeted with cheer and excitement. He worked there briefly for a few years. Learned the inns and outs of the trade, and skills to make it work. He was a fast learner. He took it as a personal goal to learn as much as was offered to him, and then some. And he learned to succeed in all of it. That is why Aziz chose to go with his gut instinct and asked Can to run the agency in the time of his absence. Little did he know that Can was fully aware of the true reason why Aziz had to surrender the reigns of the agency to him. Thanks to Can's trusted friend Metin, Can became aware of the severity of the situation his father found himself in. Metin's words took Can by complete surprise, and they scared him as well. Up to that point, Can considered his father to be invincible, a man who would live past 100 with ease and no effort...

Hearing Metin's confession made Can realize just how little time he actually spent with Aziz in the recent past. He looked up to him and could not fathom a single day of life without him. And that to Can meant that he would do everything in his power to make sure the agency was left in good hands.

Once he decided to stay, Can realized this meant that his career would be placed on hold. That was a small price to pay if it meant that his father would be healthy again. He would do anything for his father's love. And his reason for staying may not have been based on purely selfless intentions.
