Jeongin's POV

"Just tell her already you little-" Felix cut himself off. Getting a death glare from Chan.

He inhaled and said through gritted teeth,  "You little ray of sunshine"

Yeah, he was definitely going to say something else..

"I can't, you know why," I defended.

"Actually we don't know why," Hyunjin said down on the couch with a bowl of popcorn.

"what do you mean? I told you guys," I grabbed some popcorn.

"Uhh no you didn't" Jisung also sat down.

"Well spiritually I did"

"I wonder why we didn't get it then" Felix said sarcastically.

"Well why?" Hyunjin asked. The other two also looking at me, waiting for an answer.

"She's really.. popular" I mumbled really quietly.

"Huh? You gotta speak up bro" Jisung leaned in closer.

I repeated myself but they still couldn't seem to hear me.

"We can't hear you buddy" Hyunjin leaned in really close to me.

"Yeah 'cause you're old" I pushed his face away.

"No, you just have weak vocal cords" Felix said whilst eating more popcorn.

"It's cause she's.. popular, and I'm like, a crippled piece of spinach" I explained.

"Ahh I see" Jisung sighed.

"Well you'll never get back to being a healthy spinach if you stay away from the sunshine for too long" Hyunjin put a hand on my back.

"Did you get that from an inspirational post on pinterest?" I asked.

"Well I don't think they have much inspirational posts about being a healthy spinach, so no" Felix grabbed the now empty bowl and went to the kitchen.

"So I should just tell her?" I questioned.

"Yup, and if she rejects then it's her loss" Jisung patted my back and left as well.

"Trust me, you'll be okay" Hyunjin said assuringly.

"Yeah.. I hope you're right... I'll tell her tomorrow after school,"

Y/n's POV

After detention I went home.

"Hey, family," I closed the door behind me then stood infront of it. I got No answer.

"You know.. the disappointment arrived" ... No answer.

"C'mon, your cars are outside I know you're home," I whined stopping my feet lightly.

Still no answer.

I walked to the bottom of the stairs.

"I know you guys are home stop ignoring me!" I shouted up to the stairs. No answer.

I walked up the stairs. I could hear their TV and everything.

"Ughh," I groaned and went to my room.

"Rude burnt pieces of carrot" I mumbled putting my backpack down and laying on my bed.

After a while it was 8pm and they still didn't call me for dinner. Strange.

I walked down the stairs into the kitchen to see my mom putting the lettovers from dinner inside a container to put in the fridge.

"You guys already had dinner?" I questioned. No answer.

"Mom" I raised my voice slightly.

Still nothing.

"Why are you ignoring me?" I asked. Still no answer.

My dad was in the living room right next to the kitchen watching TV.

"Dad, why is mom ignoring me?" I crossed my arms.
No. Answer.

"Oh great, you too... Hello!" I waved my hands infront of his face. Didn't even move and inch.

"Ughh" I groaned, throwing my head back in annoyance.

"Is it cause I got detention?" I questioned.

Suddenly my mom and dad started clapping.

"Congratulations!" they shouted.

"For.. what?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"For figuring out your wrong-doings, you finally understood why we gave you the silent treatment" my mom explained.

My face dropped.

"You guys are annoying I tell you, annoying" I jokingly said and crossed my arms.

"Well Y/n don't get detention again, or else you missy, will be grounded for a while," my dad said.

"Now, go up to your room, we'll bring you your dinner" my mom ordered.

I went to my room.

"Amazing, how amazing" I talked to myself.

Soon my mom came in with food and left.

"I should stay at Seunghye's more often" I mumbled while eating.

This was a bit of a shorter chapter.
