Gaystripe smooths down his fur from the previous days' parties. He quickly applies his cat-hair gel with a smug smile and glances around at the cats, offering a smile to the hard-working backstage workers. He peers into a mirror for a moment before someone yells his name.
Stagehand: GAYSTRIPE! We just put the lights up on the stage. You've gotta go! Go!
Gaystripe: But my cat-hair isn't exactly fixed-
With an irritated growl, the stagehand smashes the mirror and then shoves Gaystripe out onto the stage. Promptly, the curtain is drawn and bright green, white, gray, and black lights are quickly flashed around.
Gaystripe turns around to glare at the stagehand, but all that is there is the graphic for the day. He rolls his eyes and then he turns back to the crowd, slicking his hair back with an excited grin. With that, he throws his paws up with a yowl.
Gaystripe: HELLO EVERYONE AND WELCOME BACK TO 30 DAYS OF PRIDE WITH ME, GAYSTRIPE, YOUR WONDERFUL HOST!
The audience goes wild, throwing popcorn and green flowers at the tom on the stage. He bows momentarily, and everyone screams louder.
Gaystripe: Thank you, thank you. Now, today is day fifteen, and that means that today is agender pride!
Some Random Cat: What's that??
Gaystripe: That's what I'm here to tell you about! Agender literally translates as "without gender".
Ginger Tabby: How can someone be without a gender?
Gaystripe: Well, you know how some cats are female and some are male? Some just feel as though they're not male, female, or anything in between, or anything that falls outside of the male-female binary.
Ginger Tabby: I don't get it *sniffles*
Gaystripe: Agender can be confusing, as some use it as a word to describe multiple things. Some who are agender simply feel as though they don't have a gender, while others say that they are gender neutral, which is sometimes meant as not male or female.
Gaystripe: Though, others who are agender feel as though they don't care enough about gender to assign themselves one. Others decide not to label their gender, and others identify more as a person compared to having a gender at all.
Someone in the back of the crowd starts whispering, and it quickly catches fire and spreads. Soon enough, everyone is whispering, and Gaystripe seems to suddenly notice this. He had turned to the graphic and began motioning happily at it.
However, as he turns back to the crowd, he appears confused, and he ducks backstage for a moment, looking around. Some cats are frenzied while others appear calm, simply just continuing to work.
Gaystripe: What's going on??
Frenzied Stagehand: No! No cat from QueerClan!
Gaystripe: Ugh, this again?
Calm Worker: It's fine, don't worry about it. We already figured that out.
Frenzied Stagehand: We DID?! How come nobody told me?!
Calm Worker: ...we did.
The back of the stage erupts in millions of arguments, and everyone is jumping up and yelling at the calm worker and the frenzied stagehand. Pencils and papers are thrown and Gaystripe grimaces before returning to the stage.
Gaystripe: Oh, hi all! What's going on? Whispering, chattering?
Silver Spotted Cat: There's no agender cat in QueerClan!
Gaystripe: Yeah, I already know. Anyways! Some who are agender prefer to also call themselves non-binary or genderqueer. This is not all that common, as it mostly depends on the cat themselves. Be sure to ask before just jumping into something like that!
Gaystripe: Someone who is agender may be of any sexuality. They can be bisexual, pansexual, even heterosexual, and though some are asexual, not all are. Those who are agender may also experience dysphoria if they aren't happy with how they present.
Audience: Okay, I think I get it!
Gaystripe: Good because I'm running out of time. Anyways, you know what it's time for?
Audience: PARTY???
Gaystripe: THAT'S RIGHT! Anyways, thanks for tuning in to day 15 of 30 Days of Pride! Enjoy the rest of your day and HAVE A WONDERFUL NIGHT!
With this, the tom jumps into the crowd, and everyone begins to go wild, holding the tom up as they pass him around, screaming and throwing popcorn around him. From there, the group parties with the colors of the agender flag flashing brightly around the area.
