"You took quite a bit of head damage. Even though you've healed still take it easy for the next few days." Madame Pompfrey gave me a hard look.

"Yes ma'm." I nodded.

Severus stood still looking like a very annoyed statue. He hadn't even so much as smirked since Dumbledore told him to stay with me. I eyed him curiously. He glared. I dropped my gaze.

The dungeon was cold. I shivered as we entered a classroom. His I presumed. He moved around the room preparing for a day with students. I watched curiously for a minute or two. He moved with silent grace.

Tearing my gaze away I walked over to a small bookshelf. It was lined with various books on potions. Out of curiosity I picked one up marked first year. Figuring Mr. tall dark and moody didn't want to be disturbed I sat down at a desk in the back of the room.

I got curious looks from students as they filed into the room, but none of them spoke to me. I kept my nose buried in the text book.

I looked up as he began his lesson. His voice dripped like dark chocolate. Every student in the room tensed as he began giving instructions. I realized why when one boy in black and red with a lion crest made a mistake. I winced as Severus berated him.

"I feel that was unnecessary." I muttered under my breath.

Shh one girl in black and green with a snake on her stared at me wide eyed. She must have heard. When class was over she came up to me.

"You must be out of your bloody mind to speak like that in Snape's class. You'll wind up in detention for the rest of the year." She shook her head walking away.

"I'm beginning to wonder if I'm not out of my mind." I sighed to myself. "I don't even know my own name."

"What should we call you?" He drawled sarcastically from behind me.

I jumped. How the hell did he do that? He was just at the front of the room. I looked behind me to see him smirking. Arrogant ass I glared at him.

"Whatever you want I suppose. It can't be any worse than what you call your students." I shrugged.

He stared at me hard for a moment. "Very well Miss. Come it's Professor Lupin's turn to babysit you. I have more important matters to attend to."

I got up silently and followed. Our walk up was equally as silent, but at least it got warm the further up we went. I peaked at him from the corner of my eye and saw him watching me.

"What?" I asked blushing.

"Nothing." He sighed his shoulders sagged.

We passed by a mirror and I froze. My hair was crimson red, my eyes a dark forest green. Snape stopped growling with annoyance.

"What's wrong with my face?"

Snape looked at me confused. "There were no injuries to your face. What would be wrong with it?"

"I don't know." I sighed. "Something just seems off."

Professor Lupin was the brown haired stranger from last night. When he looked up from his desk his eyes grew to the size of dinner plates. He blinked a few times as if trying to wipe an image from his mind. He looked at Snape who just glared at him as if daring Lupin to say what he was thinking.

"It's your turn to babysit." He swirled from the room.

"He's a real peach." I rolled my eyes.

Lupin covered his laugh. "Yes, unfortunately he's always been like that."
