Aria's POV
"Oh my god, it's you!" A blonde woman gasps as soon as I walk into the building.
"I um..." have I met her?
"Sorry, I've just been doing some research on you and your friends and I'm obsessed with you. You got a scholarship to your school even though you grew up in a bad part of town, you saved a man's life by giving him stitches in an emergency when you were like thirteen, and your instagram feed is awesome."
"Thank you," It comes out too much like a question? "I love your outfit," this part is genuine.
This seems to elate her. "I almost forgot to mention that you have published articles and your writing is good...vivid descriptions. And I've seen some of your art work, also amazing."
I scratch my wrist on instinct. "Oh, no," I laugh, "those are just hobbies...in reality I suck at writing and art."
"Not what any of your internships said," the blonde laughs. "I'm Penelope."
"I'm Aria, but I'm pretty sure you already know that...you probably even know my blood type."
"Yeah it's O-"
I give her a weird look because she says that way too casually.
"Garcia," Agent Morgan says, "Did you find anything on her boyfriend?"
"Ex," I correct. "I broke up with him before this, but even if I hadn't it'd be over now."
Spencer looks at Morgan, "yeah that relationship is dead."
"I have some articles and stuff to show you," Penelope starts leading Agent Morgan away, "Come on. Reid, stay here and get Aria ready for some questions."
Narrator's POV
As soon as Penelope and Morgan disappear down the hall, Penelope asks, "Did you see that? Reid sounded a little happy when he said that Aria's last relationship was dead."
"You should've seen the two in the car. Joking around, acting like they were on their way to their first date. Boy genius is smart, but not about this."
"Well, not everyone can have it as down as us, chocolate thunder," Garcia winks.
"That's the truth, baby girl," Morgan pauses, "now what do you have on that guy?"
"Michael Regions." Penelope starts to type on her computer, "he has divorced parents, he's pretty clean cut. I mean, he got in some trouble as a teenager and went to therapy for awhile as a teenager, but besides that, nothing. He did make a large purchase at a plastic surgery place nearby. It's sketchy, their speciality seems to be making sure no one knows what you're new face looks like."
