Election Day
George: *watching the results on tv* Come on, McCain! Please win! I don't want that black man to win!
George's Father: Watch your mouth, George! We didn't teach you to be racist!
George: Why is a black man running for president? So stupid!
George's Mother: Enough, George! We won't tolerate you being racist!
Barack Obama wins the election.
George: *howling* No! Why? Why?
Barack Obama: *giving his victory speech* I am so proud to be elected as your president! We have made history! We can change America for the better! Yes we can!
Crowd: Yes we can! Yes we can!
George: It's not fair! *marches upstairs to his room and slams the door*
George's Father: I should probably go talk to him. *walks upstairs and knocks on George's door*
George: What?
George's Father: Can I come in?
George: Yeah, go ahead.
George's Father: *walks into George's room* Why are you acting like this?
George: I'm not racist. I'm just uncomfortable with the fact that a black man won the election. But, I'm not racist. I just wanted John McCain to win.
George's Father: That's still being racist, George. No matter how you say it. Barack Obama will be a good president.
George: I like to believe that.
George's Father: You're 20 years old, and you're acting like a 5 year old. This is ridiculous.
George: I can't wait till 2012, so we can get a better person to beat Obama.
George's Father: This conversation is over!
