You and Jennie have been dating for quite some time now. The two of you met during practice. You two are spies working for the police and both of you would go on a mission together every time. Going on a mission also means that you're risking your life.

As much as she looks good in the mission outfit, you've been asking Jennie to quit this job as it risks her life and you'd do anything just to keep her safe.

" I don't want to. I like doing this job, why don't you quit instead? " Jennie groaned and stormed off.

Every time you bring that up, she'd get upset and won't talk to you for the whole day but you never stopped trying.

" Another mission. " you sighed. Another session of worrying about Jennie.

" Yep, let's get ready. " Jennie cheered. She's always happy about another mission even if it means she'd get hurt. Although, so far, both of you never received any injuries or wounds.

You two wore your spy gear and prepared yourself for the mission.

" Let's goo!! " Jennie cheered once again as she pulled you out of the changing room and out the entrance door.

" Are you sure you want to do this? " you asked Jennie once again, clearly worried. " It's a SS level mission. "

" Of course I am. We've been on several SS level missions, we'll be fine. " she smiled at you, making you mirror her expression. She always seem to have a very contagious smile.

" Target is on lock " Jennie whispered to her earpiece. Your squad, in hiding position, points the gun towards the target, ready to fire an ambush attack when one of the squad members, Seung Woo, messed it up by accidentally hitting a metal pipe which caused a loud clank. The targets immediately hid themselves.

The shooting rampage began and it felt never ending but your life ended when you saw several bullets hit Jennie. You saw her fall, all you could scream at the moment was 'no'.

You rushed towards Jennie, carried her towards a hiding spot and held her in your arms. You were in tears.

" This is why I told you to quit. " you muttered, all in tears. Jennie mustered all her energy to lift up her arms and wipe away your tears. She give you a weak smile.

" Tell me something happy, will you? " she asked. She was losing a lot of blood despite having your hand pressing against the wounds.

" U-uhm. " you stuttered, unsure of what to say. You wanted the last thing she heard to be something she'll never forget. " I was going to propose to you. I wanted to marry you and raise a family together. I wanted to be with you forever. "

She smiled wider. At this point, you were bawling. She was the love of your life and you know that you'll never find anyone like her anymore.

" I would've said yes. " she put her right hand on your cheek. You leaned in to give her a kiss in the forehead. Before you could back away to look at her one last time, you felt her hand fall. You couldn't bear to look at her. As you kept your eyes closed, you leaned your forehead onto hers before hugging onto her lifeless body.
