Chapter 10: Surprise!?

I sighed as I woke up. I was still in that empty room on Coles lap. His head was tucked in the crook of my neck. He was slightly snoring.

I got up but, he was quick to wrap himself around my legs. His head was on my butt. "Cole. Come on." I said softly. I don't know but, ever since i accepted him I've been more... soft. Oof.

He groaned and didn't move. I sighed and I crouched down. I put his face in my hands. He opened his eyes slowly. "Come on Cole. We got to get going." I said. He groaned. "No. One more hour. Please." He begged huskily which already had me aroused.

"No. Come on. Or I will leave you right here alone." I said. He groaned when he smelt my arousal but, he got up. "Your so short." He said while taking notice. "That's what happens when your stabbed in the back and it stops you from growing because it hit something important." I said.

"Who?!" He growled. "I killed him yesterday. No biggie." I said. I walked towards the living room where my parents sat with Coles parents.

"Mom. Dad. I accepted Cole as my mate so you don't have to worry about me being a cold hearted bitch." I said. "You changed a lot." My dad said.

"I mean. I hadn't seen you since I was six. I didn't exactly grow up properly. I was ranked an omega. I was abused and tortured. I believed that my parents were dead. I thought they were murdered before my eyes. For thirteen years." I said.

"We should have stayed safer and been more cautious." Mom said. "Don't blame it on yourselves. Blame it on that dead bastard." I growled angrily at the mention of him.

Coles parents still seemed shocked that I accepted Cole. "Hey winter, wanna go on a run with me?" Cole Asked. I was silent for a moment before nodding.
