Y/n's pov

I know one thing, if this was a crazy dream then I'm going to be at my lowest when I find out that talking to Five wasn't even real. But at this very moment my smile can't get bigger and I'm running to Mr. Hargreeves' office.

"Come in." He says after hearing me knocking.

It doesn't take me long to enter his office and bright up the depressive looking place with my smile.

"If I'm right. . which I hope I am, then Five is returning. My Five." I tell the man who's curious eyes are upon me.

"And how do you know that?" He asks as a frown appears on his forehead.

"I haven't figured it out myself but it was weird. All that matters is that he's returning!" I ramble, the big smile not fading a little bit "I'm here to thank you for letting me stay here for this long. I'm very grateful."

I swear that I can see a little smile appearing on Mr. Hargreeves his lips but it doesn't take long until his mouth forms a line again.

"No problem. It was a pleasure having you here. Take good care of Five." He says.

This man has proven me that all hearts of stone can bloom again. Mr. Hargreeves used to be very cold in the start but I wasn't much of a difference. Actually, the longer I was here the more moody I got. I didn't answer the questions that were asked to me and I didn't even look up when someone else than Vanya, Klaus and Ben was talking to me.

He kept calm and I was suprised that he didn't throw me out after a month or two. No, he let me stay for six months. He did complain about my attitude quite a few times but I understand why he did so. I just couldn't put up a fake smile and pretend that I was happy because I wasn't.

Mr. Hargreeves gave me a home when I didn't have one. Next to his attitude towards everyone and weird way of taking care of kids, I know that he cares for people. For his kids.

I remember how he asked me if Five was okay, wherever he was. Of course, I couldn't anwer but it was something that I had to tell Five when he gets back.

And now is the time.

Five is coming back. If this was real, it's finally my time to be happy.

"You are saying goodbye to everyone right?" He asks after letting me think in peace.

My eyes flutter open and I nod. Everyone. No, that ain't happening.

"I'll try to but if Five comes, I won't hesitate to go with him." I chuckle. In other words, there's no way that I'm going to say goodbye to Luther, Allison or Diego.

He nods and I'm pretty sure that he knows that I won't say goodbye to everyone.

"Goodbye Mr. Hargreeves." I tell the man and walk out of his office.

Vanya's room is close by so I head to her first. Before I knock, I pause. In the last few months, she changed my life together with Ben and Klaus. I'm not sure if I would still be standing here if it wasn't for those three. They forced me to eat and practically forced me to breathe too.

In these last months, I noticed Vanya looking longingly when her siblings went on missions. She deserves powers more than anyone.

The way she'd always try to talk to me, even when I was locking myself up in my room. She'd come with a book and read it as she sat next to the locked door till I opened it.  Then she'd walk in and sit down on the bed and gesture for me to sit down next to her so she could read to me.

When she played the violin, it felt like I was in another world. I closed my eyes and let myself enjoy the calmness that her music gave me.

I knock on her door and in just a few seconds, she's standing in front of me.
