Sooo guys here me out!!!

I've been trying this intermittent fasting thing for a while now (I wanted to try it myself before telling you guys about it ❤️) and I can definitely tell you this is the best thing I've tried in a very long time

So story time, I've always had problems with bloating, lack of energy and feeling full way too fast, as well as being just plain unhealthy with my eating habits

But this summer, I decided to change all of it and get my revenge body for once and for all

I'm not very fond of diets basically bc I'm not constant, but I really wanted to change my health and I was recommended to try intermittent fasting

It sounded dangerous and I has many doubts however I decided to try it for a week and I assure you my body and health have changed drastically!!!!! Not only did I tone and loose the extra body fat, but on the whole I feel so good and e and energized so I've decided to keep doing it for the rest of the summer

So here are the basics of I.F if any of you want to try, of course each body will react differently but believe me it's worth the try!!!!

1. How does it work?

Intermittent fasting consists in eating for a period of time and then fasting for another period of time. During the fasting period your body uses the extra fat to get its energy and detox your body.

There are different time periods, you can even download and app and track your times, however the one I did was the 8/16 interval

Eating period: 1 p.m - 8 p.m
The rest of the time was spent fasting

Other rules :

- During your fasting time , you can of course consume liquids such as tea or coffee (no milk or sugar) and obviously water

- During the eating time, try to eat many small meals like fruits and veggies

- stay away from sugar , fatty foods and limit the carb intake

- try to eat lots of fiber if you really want to detox

- most importantly YOU HAVE TO EXERCISE !!! complimenting this diet with even a little exercise ( 30 min walk daily) can make drastic changes in your body for the better

2. Evidence-based health Benefits

1. Insulin levels drop significantly so fat burning is easier

2. Cellular repair: The body induces important cellular repair processes, such as removing waste material from cells

3. Belly fat and weight loss

4. Lower risk of type 2 diabetes

5. Reduces stress and inflammation of the body

6. Beneficial for heart health

7. Good for you brain and mental clearing

8. It extends your lifespan and promotes longevity

And so much more!

So beauties, I'm no nutritionist , I can only speak from my experience and what I've read , but there are numerous medical articles (including the Harvard medical blog) which support this diet

My advice ? Investigate some more on your own, look at videos, read articles, take tests to see which periods would suit you and if you need it talk to a nutritionist, and if you're convinced , TRY IT!!!
