"Are you carrying any weapons?" A tough-looking man dressed in black with long blonde hair asks, his arm acting as a barrier between Katakuri and the door leading into the pub.

How odd, I don't recall this place having a doorman the last time I came here...

"Does a penknife count?" Your redheaded lover casually questions, only earning himself a small scoff as the blonde nods his head, his hand already reaching out and seemingly waiting for Katakuri to hand the 'weapon' over.

You're almost wondering to yourself why he would carry such a thing but given the thrashing he gave your mugger, you think it's best you don't ask.

Brulee's hand appearing out of nowhere and taking a gentle hold of the doorman's bicep just as the steel of the penknife brushes his fingers, the touch seems to have the man retracting his hand at least, seemingly not interested in confiscating the item anymore.

"It's alright, Killer. He's my brother."

Killer? She has a doorman named Killer?! Damn, what a beast!

Naturally the blonde respects the wishes of his boss, simply stepping aside and allowing you and your boyfriend to enter the bar without any further argument, Brulee immediately offers you both a swift apology before shooting you a subtle smirk.

Admittedly, you were pretty nervous about seeing her tonight since the last time you spoke, you distinctly remember the woman claiming she won't forgive the lady who hurt her brother...and that lady was you.

Of course, you didn't know you had hurt him at the time and she certainly didn't know who you were but you're not sure if that changes anything.

"You've upgraded your security." Katakuri casually points out, his voice as calm as always and immediately drawing in Brulee's stare as she nods her head, a frown etched into her features.

"I had to! A pair of little snots had a knife fight in here yesterday, they almost cut me when I was trying to break it up!" Your eyes widen a little at that claim as you silently thank your lucky stars that you've cut down on drinking a lot this week, otherwise you might've witnessed it for yourself, or gotten caught up in it with your bad luck.

You can sense Katakuri tensing a little from beside you as he grumbles something incoherent under his breath, his beautiful eyes narrowed and holding a slight flare within them.

"Who were they?"

Oh, he's definitely going to hunt down and kill them now.

"Bellamy and Dellinger were their names, apparently." The purplette essentially hisses as she guides you both over to a booth, gesturing for you to take a seat. "I swear one of them were underage too but they had an ID that I couldn't argue with, it was just everything else about the brat that seemed off."

"Dellinger...I've had just about enough of that kid recently." Katakuri's voice sounding a little darker now as he wraps an arm around your small form, pulling you in toward his chest as his sister sits herself opposite you both with a pout etched into her features. "If you thought the ID was fake then you shouldn't have served him."

"Yes, I realized that all too late." Brulee's golden eyes then darting back to you as her pout seemingly washes away completely, a wide grin replacing the look as she claps her hands together. "And you! You were so selective about what you told me, I had no idea you were interested in my big brother~!"

So, she's happy about this? Thank you, lord!

"I almost wanna hate you, I won't lie!" Oh okay, no thank you, lord. Katakuri's arm only tightening a little around your frame as he stares coldly at his younger sister, seemingly giving her a silent threat. "But I've been informed about your difficulties within your family and I can understand your dilemma, just don't hurt my brother again...I'll kill you."
