When Joshua Matthews and Maya Hunter see each other for the first time in ages the last thing on their mind was marrying.
Now that is exactly what they're going to do according to their parents.
But it doesn't come without a price.
Maya hasn't gotten a lot of either Josh or his parents. Which she wasn't sure was good but she'll try to see it like that. She has been organising her closet into seeing what outfits will work best for when she is a businesswomen. Because she'll take over Shawn's business and she'll like to look good. Even for just awhile.
It was a school day and really cold. For March it was cold. It was 50° F and Maya didn't even wanna get out of bed. But she had to. She also decided to make one of the outfits her outfit of the day.

Maya was sitting at the breakfast table when Shawn noticed what Maya is wearing.
"Go change." "Relax Dad. I'm just trying to find out what will work when I take over. That's all," Maya said. "Well I think it looks cute," Katy said. "Gosh. Why is it so cold?" Maya says. "All you need is to get your hair and make-up done then you're gone." "Thanks Dad. Plus I figured since I am in my senior year I would do something a bit more business like," Maya said. "I am glad you're trying," Katy said. "Not like I have a choice," Maya said then her phone rang.
"Morning Josh," Maya said. "Good morning. How are you today?" Josh asks while Maya pours a glass of orange juice. "I'm fine. You really don't have to worry about me," Maya said. "I know but I also know you. Listen do you have a few minutes this afternoon?" Josh asked. "Anytime. What time to you want to see me?" Maya asked. "Two-thirty okay?" "Yeah I'll see you at the bakery then?" Maya asks. "See ya Gorgeous," Josh said and put the phone down.
"Okay I have to go. See you guys tonight," Maya said and was off.
She had a lot to do and of course she knew that she would be able to do much more on her own.
