It was later the day and Maya was sitting at lunch with all her friends.
Riley have asked a lot about Maya's outfit and she said that she was trying a few new stuff with the hope that Riley believed her.
Which she wasn't sure about but kept quiet.
She actually didn't know about Maya's appointment with her uncle.

"We have a nice plan for this afternoon. Everyone must come," Lucas said.
"No can do Ranger Rick. My fiancé wants to see me for some reason," Maya said.
"Why?" Riley asked.
"Like I said for some reason. I don't know. Maybe he wants to discuss something with me," Maya said.
"Yeah right," Farkle said.
"I didn't ask, okay? He just said he wanted to see me," Maya said.

As Maya reached for a bottle of water she heard her phone vibrate.
She pulled it out to see ten texts through the morning.
She had a frown on her face and Riley knew something was up.
Maya opened Message and saw all the texts.
It was kids from her school which had something to say about the engagement.
She and Josh hadn't been engaged for very long.
Maybe two weeks and nobody had questions yet.
Well they probably saved it for the phone.

Maya read through the texts and immediately tears appeared in her eyes.
Lucas grabbed Maya's phone while Riley just stared.

"What's wrong Maya?" Riley asked.
"Kids bullying her over text. Don't listen to any of it," Lucas said.
"Fact keeps standing. Everyone..."

Maya stood up, grab and ran off somewhere.
Riley ran after Maya while everyone laughed at Maya.

"Let's go," Lucas said and Farkle and Zay followed him.

They went to find Riley or help her find Maya.

"She's gone."
"Okay why don't you two go search at the art room and we'll search down here. We'll find her. Come," Lucas said.

Everyone went around looking for Maya and in the end it was Lucas who found her.
She was in gym busy shooting hoops.
She throws the ball and it goes through the hole.

"Miss Maya Hunter shooting another point for Abigail High!" Lucas shouted and Maya smiled.
"What you doing Lucas?" Maya asked.
"Cheering you up. We've been looking for you. Shoot hoops?"
"Only when I'm stressed," Maya said.
"What are you thinking?"
"Am I doing the right thing? What if I marry Josh and after a year his parents drive me crazy? That can happen," Maya said.
"I'm not going to lie. It can. But why do you care about that? Since I've met you I've known about your crush. I assumed you like him and now that it is five years later it isn't working for you?" Lucas asked.
"Of course I liked him. I still do. But what is going to happen if he doesn't feel the same? He never said that he felt likewise," Maya said.
"Maya it doesn't help wondering what if. Ask him if it botheres you," Lucas said and Maya shot another hoop.

"You okay? I've been searching all over," Riley said.
"I will be. Okay," Maya said and shot one last hoop.
"Let's go," Maya said.

They went back to class and Maya managed to calm down a bit.
She had to.
She had no decision.
But maybe Lucas was right.
No use topping about it now.
She'll leave that for later.
