Chapter 21

It's been a week later and Maya has pretty much been spending every night at Josh's place which she already calls her place.
She got used to everything pretty fast and that was just luck.

But she was still worried about Raven.
Which wouldn't go away.
Lucas and Farkle will be back next week after their three week suspension and Maya still haven't told anyone that she and Josh slept together.
Gosh she didn't even tell anyone they shared a kiss.
For some reason she is very secretive about her love life.
Which was very strange.
She didn't think she would do something like this.

School finishes in two months and Maya is pretty excited.
She was sitting at Topanga's busy with homework just like Riley and Zay.
Riley and Zay both got a text and grabbed their phones.

"Oh my gosh. Maya the invitation is so cute. Modern and classy yet elegant. It's beautiful," Riley said.
"I'm glad. It was my fiancé's suggestion and I loved it. Its so..."
"You. It's so you," Riley said.
"Not that girly as I thought so I'm happy," Zay said.
"Ha. I actually have to speak to my parents about something," Maya said.
"Are there problems?" Riley asked.
"Not as far as I'm concerned," Maya said.

Maya's pov

I was lying but I didn't want her worrying.
I didn't know if I was correct and besides.
It's my business and I was scared my suspicions were true.

It was later the day and Maya had just got home.
She knew that her parents were busy but not exactly how busy.
Raven was nowhere to see but she knew her sister was there.
She knew it.
Maya went to Raven's room and saw she was asleep.

But where are her parents?
She didn't see them at all.
She looked around the apartment and didn't find them.
They did it.
They realised that Maya knew something was up.
She can't believe it.
And then Raven started crying.

"It's okay Raven. I'm here," Maya said as she took Raven in her arms.

She tried to calm her down and managed within seconds.
Maya then looked through her parents' room while having Raven with her and saw that everything was gone.
She then decided to call Josh hoping he is out of class.

"Hey. What's wrong?" Josh asked.
"They're gone. They left Raven in her crib and went away. Everything is empty," Maya said.
"Pack a few things for you and Raven and go to the apartment."
"I'll see you there," Maya said.

She packed a suitcase for both her and Raven and some of Raven's stuff as well.

Stroller, car seat, bottles, baby carrier the works.
She loaded the car and then drove to Josh.
He was already there and Maya was releaved.

" I can't believe they would do something like this," Josh said.
"Neither did I. But it is as clear as daylight that they are gone," Maya said as she took Raven out.
"I'll take all the stuff inside. Does she have a crib?" Josh asked.
"Yeah I disassembled it," Maya said.
"Go inside. I'll be there in a sec."
