Arranged Marriage

Chapter 36

It's here!
Today is Maya and Josh's wedding day.
Maya had a good night rest for the first time in ages and is very happy.
But her day starts us usual with Raven waken her up at eight.
It wasn't very early and Maya was prepared.

"What do you say Raven?" Maya asked as she lifted Raven up.
"You excited for the wedding?"
"What about you?" Riley asked.
"You know I never thought this would happen. I am like nerves. Like it wasn't arranged which is a lie. But I am very excited. Like a girl for her prom," Maya said.
"You guys found each other," Riley said.
"Yeah. I love him and he loves me," Maya said.

"Ah the bride is awake," Topanga said and gave Maya a cup of coffee.
"Thank you. Is Mr Feeny here?"
"Since seven," Topanga said and Riley took Raven.
"Go jump through the shower. I'll manage her," Rieky said.

Maya jumps through the shower and just pull a T-shirt and jeans on.
She then goes in front to where everyone else is.

"Mr Feeny," Maya said.
"Ah here comes the bride. I M so happy to be here," Mr Feeny said.
"Thank you for doing this. We couldn't find anyone else. How come this is feeling more like a planned wedding?" Maya asks.
"It's normal," Cory said.

Maya breaths in and Riley notices she is more nerves than she should be.

"Why don't we start? I think we can begin with your hair," Riley said.
"Yes. Let's get started."

As Riley gets Maya ready she receives a text from Josh.

J: 'Today I become your husband and I could have asked for a better girl to call my wife. I've known you my entire life and I would never have it any other way. I love you till the end and I know we are going to be happy. We are going to be the greatest parents to our baby and you are a amazing sister to Raven. I look forward to walking next to you for the rest of my life. I love you.'

Tears are shallow in Maya's eyes and Riley smiles.

"All the Matthew brothers are romantics," Riley said.
"Yeah. And your uncle... Is the best. I can't believe that someone like he could cross my paths," Maya said.

Riley finished Maya hair and make-up then did Topanga's and Topanga did hers and Ava's.
As everyone got ready Maya was thinking about what she is going to do after the wedding with the baby.
She know she and Josh will be great parents but she is struggling to process it.

The time moved on from eight-thirth to eleven.
It's time for the wedding and Maya isn't nerves anymore.
Excited to start her new life with Josh.
Everyone heads to the venue till its only Maya, Riley and Cory left.
As arranged Cory will be walking her down the aisle.

They go out and Cory helps Maya on a white horse.
On the horse she then goes to the venue.
Cory helps her off and she goes stand next to him.
She breaths in and look behind her to Ava.

"Ava," Maya said and the ten year old girl came closer.
"I want you to walk beside me."
"Okay," Ava said.

Cory took Maya's hand and walked her in.
Everyone stood up and saw her.
Topanga couldn't believe it is the same girl she raised all those years.
Cory hands Maya to Josh and the two smile at each other.
The bridesmaids and best man stood beside and Mr Feeny started.

"Today we are gathered here to welcome these two beautiful people in the life as a married couple. To walk aside each other and love to death. Are you ready?" Mr Feeny asked and they nod.
"When two people enter the world as married couples they know their responsibility. But also they know what they have to do for each other.
Left hand.
Do you, Joshua Gabriel Matthews, take, Maya Penelope Hunter, as your lawful wife to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?" he asked and Josh looked at Maya.
"I, Joshua Gabriel Matthews , take you, Maya Penelope Hunter, to be my wife to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part."
"Do you, Maya Penelope Hunter, take, Joshua Gabriel Matthews , as your lawful husband to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?" he asked once again.
"I, Maya Penelope Hunter, take you, Joshua Gabriel Matthews , to be my husband to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part."
" I gather you have a speech prepared," Mr Feeny said.
" Maya, I have no idea what I would have done without you. You are my light and night. You are my everything. I look at you and I wonder what will life be without you. I can't. Because you are my life. And I love yoy to eternity," Josh said.
"Joshua, you have been apart of my life for so many years I don't even want to think about it without you. Since I was thirteen I kept one believing that someday the two of us would stand here promising to vow the rest of our lives to each other. You are wonderful for both me and my sister. You support me no matter what and believe in me even if I don't. You were there since day one and I can't thank you enough. For every single kiss, every single hug, every single tear shattered you were there. And from today I walk beside you for the rest of my life. And I couldn't ask for any better. I love you incredibly much and I love you to the moon and back."
"Does anyone oppose against this wedding?" Mr Feeny asked but everyone was quiet.
"I now present you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."

The two smiled at each other and Josh pulled Maya close to him for a soft, passionate kiss.
The two were meant to be and now everyone can know that.
Maya has known that since she was young.
