I really thought Sam has changed when i saw him at the school, but how can he suggest a contract wedding, doesn't emotions mean anything to him
"Sam, get a life" i managed to say before he left
"Where is your boss" mom asked, not my boss a psycho I wanted to say
"Something urgent came up, he had to leave" I lied
"He looks nice, I like him" father said
No you better not like him father.

It's been 2 days i saw sam, I believed he has left for Canada, well that will be better for him, I thought.
It's a weekend today and I don't have any classes, so i was updating my Novel "I SURVIVED" When dad interrupted
"Look who I found, looking for a hotel to stay" I followed his gaze to the door, where sam was standing, this man won't be the end of me i said to my self
"You're still around" i asked Sam
So he didn't heed, the advice I gave him
I told him to go get a life
"Yes, I'm here to get a life" he smirked
father showed him to his new room and ask me to get him food.

It's past a week now and Sam is still staying at our house, he has managed to get into my parents good book, he's their new son and I'm the forgotten one, they go to shopping together, cook together, In fact they do nothing without telling him.

"Lily! Lily" mother called, i went down to her
"You will take Sam out today, he wants to see the town" mother said, she was not even asking she was commanding
I have no problem with going out with sam because he has stop pestering me about the stupid wedding idea, but thinking of it getting married to Sam wouldn't be such a bad idea, he treats my parents right and he makes me laugh
But marriage isn't all about that is it?
I don't have any feelings for him, I also don't hate him, but he doesn't love me either
"I'm ready" sam interrupted my wild imagination of being his wife
I scrutinized him, he was wearing a blue denim and a button down maroon shirt
His eyes are lighter and he seems to have added some weight
"You're really enjoying all this right" i said to him when we are in the car
"You've added weight" i commented
"Are you checking me out" he asked
He's so childish, why will I check him out, deep down I know that's what I'm doing
"Now put a smile on that grumpy face, we are checking on Bell, the baby might have a heart attack even before she's born if she sees this your face" I smiled, I'm beginning to love my guts.
Sam's face was an inch away from my "is this the face you want" he grinned
"S-stop that" I manage to bluff.

"Hey best friend" I said kissing her belly, which was bigger than the last time i saw her
"My manners, meet Sam, my grumpy boss from Canada, and a man who is after my life here in LV" I joked as they exchanged pleasantries
Bell ushered us, sam was so free that he made tea at Bell's kitchen
We spend an hour chit chatting before we left
"Your friend is a nice person, wouldn't you want to have a baby too" he asked and i raised my eyebrows
"Marry me L" he said firmly
"Oh I thought we were done with that" a fake wedding and he's asking if I also want a baby, he is so unbelievable
"What do i have to do for you to marry me and that too soon, because my father wants me to get married in 3 weeks" he explained, oh that's what all this is all about
"Why me though?"
"I have a thing for intelligent women and that you are" he said
"Win my heart then" i dared
After showing him around, we went back home.
I was so tired, I needed to sleep badly, I checked my phone and it's 11pm already
After changing into my PJs I heard a sound from my phone

"Meet me at the terrace, I'm waiting
your other half Sam💕"
This guy is up for it, I braided my hair and left for the terrace.
Is this really my house, I asked my self because the terrace was decorated with flowers and balloons, flowers kept raining on me until I found sam standing with a box in his hands
"Lily, I know I'm not what every lady ask for and I'm not worthy of a gem like you, but I find my self wanting your company every minute every second, I don't know if this is love or not but I want to spend forever with, you make me want to be a better version of my self and you are a pillar, my pillar"
Is Sam really saying all this or is it one of my silly dreams
He knelt down and open the box, in it sat a very very beautiful ring
"Marry me" he said "and if you don't want to it's fine, I'll leave tomorrow and I promise you'll never see me again" he said and i know he's telling the truth, but i was confused and how can i leave my NGO, my parents my friends my life for a man,
"I-I" nothing was coming out so i ran back down to my room
Hoping he will be gone by tomorrow.

I was unable to sleep through out the night, so I vomited out words into my journal, after hearing the chirping of birds I decided to go make coffee, then i saw sam saying good bye to my parents, i have already made up my mind yesterday night and the decision is firm
I went to the door and my eyes met sam's disappointed eyes "where are you going, we have to choose my dress and are you sure the ring is my size?" I said, everyone
looked so puzzled "it's a yes!!!" I shouted
"Mom, dad, this crazy man here asked me to marry him, because he's so dumb, he asked for a contract wedding" I chuckled
"We know everything" father and mother said in unison "it was all a plan, Sam staying in this house and everything else was planned" mom said
"Sam, told me he wanted to marry you but you said no, we told him, that's not the right way and if he really isn't sure of his feelings, he should let you be because you have been hurt so bad" father explained
I opened my my mouth to speak but words couldn't come
"Are you serious L" asked Sam
"Yes, more than ever" i hugged him so tight
