Ellie's story ... A One Direction Adoption Story

chapter three

(Wow these are getting short... is that ok as long as I post more of them?)

Ellie's POV:

While I was playing with Harry Niall wandered in and started playing with us too. I said something that made them laugh but then Harry said he was gonna get me. I stood up and ran away playfully downstairs. I flopped on the couch and covered myself with a blanket. I could hear their footsteps getting closer to me as the blanket was torn off. Harry started to tickle me while Niall held me still I laughed and laughed even after they stopped. Then I heard the front door open and the screams of girls grow and then disappear.

Three girls walked through the door and were greeted by zayn, Louis, and Liam. They came over and introduced themselves as Eleanor, Daniella, and Perri. From what I could tell Louis was dating Eleanor, Liam was dating Daniella, and zayn was dating perri. Liam suggested that we could have pizza for dinner everyone nodded including me.

A man named Paul suggested that we pick it up rather than torcher a delivery man with the fans. All of the boys agreed and the girls said they would stay and set up the house. Once the pizza was ordered we all got into the car again and I looked out the window at the girls. I looked at Niall and asked why they were. He looked around awkwardly and said he would tell me later and I nodded.

When we finally arrived at the pizza place Harry offered to go inside and I followed him holding his hand. I could feel eyes on us and then a girl asked him to sign something. Then another girl came up followed by more girls they kept asking questions about me and Harry ignored them. The girls continued to talk, but then Paul came in and shooed them away.

When we got back to the house it was kind of late. Louis said that we could watch a movie. He asked if I like any and I shrugged. I never really had the chance to watch movies before. They eventually decided on an animated movie that perri said was great. I looked around and saw that Perri was leaning into zayn while Liam and Louis were doing the same with their girlfriends. Niall had a large bowl of popcorn in his lap and I sat in between Niall and Harry. As the movie went on I felt my eyes get heavy and before I knew it I was asleep.

Harry's POV:

When the movie ended I lifted her up and carried her to her room. Her breathing was long and even and it was the most relaxed I had seen her all day. As I turned off the light in her room and walked down the hall I heard a scream coming from her room. I ran back as fast as I could to find her sitting up in bed with her eyes wide open in a cold sweat. I walked over and sat by her on the bed. I asked what her dream was about and she just said daddy I didn't say anything else. I knew that her father had abused her, Darcy had told us that. After sitting with her for a while I asked if she was okay and she nodded.

Once I got up to leave she grabbed my hand and said don't go. I looked at her big blue eyes and took the necklace off of my neck. I looked at her and told her that as long as she had the necklace on nothing could hurt her. She nodded as I draped the necklace over her head. Before I turned to leave she gave me a hug and I returned it. Once I let go she smiled sleepily at me and laid her head back on her pillow. In an instant she was asleep.
