Who am I in this world of gloom?
Who am I to say who I am or who I want to be, when my voice is silenced, my thoughts ignored?
Who am I when all I feel is the great big nothingness?
Hollowed out like a tree stump,
Empty and worthless like a crumpled, blank sheet of paper?
Who am I without your love,
Without the way you made me feel,
Without the way you made my heart race,
Without you next to me, guiding me each step of the way?
Who am I when I don't have you to tell me who I am?
Who am I when all the feelings I felt, came from you,
But now you're gone,
And I'm empty?
All my love gone,
All my fear gone,
All my joy and compassion gone,
My anger and jealousy, all gone.
And all I am left to do is ask,
Who am I?
