I thought you of all people would believe me!

Ed and left Lorraine Warren started to unpack their bags whilst Lorraine's mother started preparing the dinner for that night and Ed took his bag to the museum to add his latest addition to the room from their latest case.
Eventually Lexi and Judy walked through the front door " Nanna we're home" Lexi called out.
" In the kitchen girls" she called back.
Lexi and Judy walked through the hallway and into the kitchen " Oh my god I can't believe...." Judy giggles but soon stopped when she saw her mom and dad in the kitchen.
" Mom! Dad!" Judy said running over to her parents and hugged them both.
" Hey sweetheart" Lorraine said hugging Judy and kissed the top of her head.
Judy let go of her mother and hugged her dad " Hey sweetie" Ed said as he hugged his youngest daughter.
Lorraine walked over to Lexi and Lexi just threw herself at her mother. Lorraine kissed the top of Lexi's head and hugged her tight only to hold her at arms length to look at her daughter " Whats wrong? Do you feel okay you feel rather hot" Lorraine said gently placing her hand on Lexi's forehead.
" I'm fine" Lexi shrugged, Lorraine frowned " I'm sure she's fine Lorraine they've only just got on the door leave them be" Ed said.
" How's school been girls?" Ed asked Lexi and Judy who both looked at each other before answering.
" come on let's go and sit down before dinner" Ed suggested.
" Can we get our home work done it's just we've been give more than is legal" Lexi chuckled nervously and Ed nodded.
Lexi and Judy left the kitchen leaving Ed, Lorraine and Georgiana.
" Something's wrong Ed" Lorraine voiced.
" the girls seem fine" Ed shrugged.
" They're not something's happened I can feel it. You have to trust me on this. When I hugged Lexi something wasn't right something was off" Lorraine frowned.
" Are you sure hun?" Ed wanted to check.
" I'm sure Ed . We need to keep an eye on her and we'll Judy too" Ed nodded " Okay Hun" he smiled.
Lexi and Judy went straight to Lexi's room where they shut the door and sat down on Lexi's bed.
" Okay was it me or was it weird with mom and dad just then?" Judy asked and Lexi nodded.
" What's wrong aren't you happy that mom and dad are home?" Lexi shrugged " I don't know really I just feel so angry and I don't k know why" Judy frowned "what's with you? You were fine when they left" Judy couldn't understand what was wrong with Lexi.
" I don't know Judy Okay I just don't know" Lexi snapped.
" Jeez Okay calm down" Judy rolled her eyes.
An hour later Lorraine stood at the bottom of the stairs and called out " Dinner girls".
" This is gonna be awkward because I know mom knows somethings wrong" Lexi sighed.
"Come on it'll be fine" lexi nodded weakly.
the girls nervously head down stairs where they are greeted by their parents and grandmother already seated at the table.
The girls smiled as they took their seats " This looks great" Judy smiled as she looked at her mom, dad and grandmother whilst Lexi was quiet and this didn't go unnoticed by Lorraine and Ed.
" Everything alright girls?" Ed glanced at Lexi and then at Judy.
" Yeah Everything is Fine, isn't it Lex" Judy kicked Lexi under the table " Ouch" she groaned and Judy looked at her sister who eventually understood why Judy kicked her " Yeah Everything is just fine" Lexi forced at smile.
Lorraine raised a questioning eye brow " So what did you girls get up to whilst were gone?" Lorraine asked before she took a sip of wine.
" Nothing...why what did you hear?" Lexi blurred out.
" Just ignore Lexi she's not been feeling to good lately" Judy chuckled.
" Judy don't try and change the subject what is Lexi going on about?" Lorraine asked firmly.
" Nothing honestly Mom. Like I said Lexi hasn't been well that's all and we've had weird stuff happen that we can't explain that's all she means but everything is fine" Judy chuckled nervously aware she was digging herself into a hole.
" You girls didn't go in to that room by any chance did you? You know its off limits" Ed was getting angry.
" No dad we didn't and like you've programmed into us a thousand times not to go in there and not to touch anything if we did. Which I would like to clarify we didn't and grandma can back us up on that. Can't you grandma?" Judy turned to her grandmother " Yes dear that is true but Lexi did go in there once didn't you love?" Lexi dry swallowed.
" I did but I thought that you guys were home and left the door open and well I went to get a drink and then that door opened by it's self and so I went to see why it was open and well the door slam shut on me and something had that Annabelle doll in its arms and was rocking it" Lexi knew she was giving too much a way but she couldn't stop herself.
" Is that what I heard when I phoned the other night mom and you had to cut our phone call short?" Her mother nodded " Yes and I do have to agree the door was locked and we couldn't open it but when we did get it open Lexi was alone and that Doll was in her case and there was no one else in there with her" Lexi sighed.
" I knew no one would believe me" Lexi felt a tear slip down her cheek.
" What your grandmother is saying that you went in there alone when we've told you not too and you created this whole mess. We are so disappointed in you" Ed sighed.
" I didn't....something or someone was in there with me I swear. Mom you must believe me of all people right? Judy?" Lexi pleaded.
" I didn't see anything that night Lexi but,I do believe you" Judy said softly.
" I believe you sweetie but maybe us being away for so long has taken its tow on you Lexi" Lorraine said softly to her eldest daughter.
" I'm not making it up I swear" Lexi has tears streaming down her cheeks, she got up from the table and rushed off "Lexi Wait" Judy called out but it was too late.
" Nice one, I thought you of all people would believe us" Judy snapped at her mother as she chucked her napkin on the table and got up from the table chucked her seat back and stormed off after Lexi.
" What's gotten into the girls?" Ed asked and Lorraine shook her head " I know something isn't quite right. I just can't put my finger on it at the moment. It's like something is here but doesn't want us to find it and it's leeching off the girls I can sense it" Lorraine said to Ed and her mother.
