Y/N POV
Locking the door of my apartment I rushed to the sofa and threw myself, breathing heavily against the pillow all I thought about was quitting, I've been thinking about it for a few weeks and I'm so close to drop out it's not a joke, having all these assignments isn't helping me at all, I can't even get a few hours of sleep in because of how early I need to wake up, why does school have to be so long?
getting up from the sofa that felt so comfy I decided to walk toward my room and change into my pyjamas, get some homework done.
1 hour later
being strongly focused on my work I felt my phone vibrate on the table, seeing the id I deeply sighed before picking it up, placing my phone against my ears still looking down on my homework
"Yes, and before you say anything I can't come out." I spoke flicking the pen on my finger from side to side.
"Y/N come on, you never have fun, just tonight" she whined from the phone.
"I can't you know I have work tonight" I reminded myself.
"Really? Why don't you have fun for once in your life, you never do!" she screamed as I removed the phone from my ear, trying to get my hearing back
"I know but I have priorities, I have to pay rent for this apartment that I'm living in, sorry I need to go." I replied and hung up. I know I have a boring life, but that's just how life is, I don't waste my time on things that don't have a certain outcome that would be really beneficial like partying, I've worked so hard to get into university and now I need to work even harder to get out on the other side with something
2 hours later 6:30pm
"Hello welcome, what can I get for you today?" I said smiling in front of the counter, my voice sounded so tried, I widened my eyes a little trying not to fall asleep, how can I stand in one place and not fall asleep?
"Hi can I have one americano without sugar please" his deep voice filled my ears, I tried to look up at him but it was covered with a mask, he wore a black cap to cover his head, his dark brown eyes continued to pierce through mine as I nodded
"Y-yeah, that's 3.50" I stuttered a little as my palms started to sweat, I turned around making his drink before I could finish he spoke once more
"Here" He said as he handed me a black credit card. Wow, in my whole experience of working in this coffee shop I never seen a person pay coffee with a black credit card. Damn that's hot.
"here you go" I said as I handed him his card and his coffee
"thanks" he gave me one last glance before leaning the shop, what was that? that was awkward
apartment
I got home and quickly headed to have a shower. I love having a shower to late, everything about it is so calm and peaceful, the water meeting my face, the sound of the rain outside, the hot water everything about it was so calm until I heard my phone buzzing so many times. I sighed drying myself and wrapped a towel around my body. I picked up my phone from my nightstand and looked at the unknown person.
My head titled a side looking at the weird number that I never seen before
"who's this...?" I muttered to myself trying to notice the number
