A/N: Third chapter. Shout out to the Instagram Group Chat I'm on for helping me figure this out.

Annabeth: For the Disclaimer, the author does not own my universe, Rick Riordan does. Harry's universe is owned by J.K Rowling.
Me: How- I--
Annabeth: I read. I knew this was coming.
Me: ...fair point. Shall we continue?
Annabeth: On with the story!

***Nico's P.O.V***

It was murder actually." My voice was cold and devoid of emotion. I stared blankly ahead of me, diverting my gaze away from him.

"I see." He smiles at me, and I continued to stare at the wall. He addressed the trio this time, leaving me to stare at the strange contraptions that littered the tables.

"So children, why have you taken Mr di Angelo to me?"

"Sir, what if he's a Death Eater?"

"What is your proof behind such reasoning Miss Granger?"

"Well-" Hermione was cut off by an Iris Message appearing in front of me.

"Nico!" Through the misty image I could see Jason and Will slightly in front of an unconscious Rachel. My mind went straight to what was probably the answer. "The Oracle gave a prophecy!"

Yup it's official. The Fates really hate me. Maybe they have a list of people who's lives they love to mess up. If so, I think I've joined Percy. He would definitely be number one. Argh, dam ADHD! "What did it say?"

Jason grabbed a small sheet of paper on the table and read the scrawled Latin. "It went like this:

The Ghost King lies in foreign lands
Alone and cold, his captors hands
Alight in ignorance of his friends and foes
For sure enough as the North Wind blows
Eris lies awake, unknown
Bonds formed and broken strengthened again
And at the end an ally, a friend.

"Why now? I guess Annabeth's had a look at it, what did she think?"

"She just left actually. For once it was slightly straightforward - our enemy's Eris. There's a chance Aquilon, I mean Boreas is helping her. Obviously it's about you, but we're not sure about the captors...or the bonds...Nico, where are you? Because it's really bright on your end."

It was at this moment when I realised I had messed up. Badly.

"I'm going to have to cut the connection Jason... I'll IM you another time."

"Oh, sure Ni-" I swiped my hand through the image and he disappeared. I slowly turned around to see 3 equally astonished (and 1 mildly surprised) wizards. Sighing, I looked at Hermione.

"You can drop the wand Hermione. As you've probably realised, I'm going to be here for a while."

(A/N: I so wanted to end it here...)

She lowered the wand and Ron cried out. "Bloody hell mate! What was that?" I decided to answer their questions, seeing as the threat concerned them too.

"An Iris Message. So, the Greek and Roman gods are real, I'm the son of Hades which makes me a demigod. I can travel through shadows so that's how I ended up at No. 13, the prophecy you heard is from the Oracle, and is going to come true. You and I, perhaps other wizards too, will have to fight the Greek goddess of Strife and Discord, Eris. There's also a chance she's accompanied by the North Wind, Boreas. Harry, Hermione, Ron, Random Old Man Who Happens To Know My Dead Mom, any questions?"

***Harry's P.O.V***

Out of all the things Nico could have been, a demigod was not what I was expecting. Nor did I expect him to tell me I was going to be fighting a goddess. Or that there was a prophecy. After last year, I had had enough of them. Hermione seemed bursting with questions but Dumbledore was the first one to break the silence with a quiet chuckle. "What do you need to do Mr di Angelo? And please, call me Professor Dumbledore."

"Sure thing Professor. And I'm not sure...Eris may be angry - she does not have as much respect from the Olympians as she would like. And spreading discord and chaos is what she does. She might try to make us turn on each other, so we'll have to be prepared."

"I see. Anything else?"

"Monsters. Eris will probably bring an army. Some students should learn how to use a weapon." Hermione cut across suddenly.

"We have wands. And why should he trust you anyway?" Nico looked at her with disdain.

"If your wand is lost or broken, what would you do? You would fight with your fists, with whatever was near you. And that could include a sword." Hermione quietened down after that. I piped up with my own question.

"What about Boreas?"

"If Eris is controlling him, we should be able to snap him out of it, whether with a hit to the head or charmspeak. If he's helping her out of his own free will...we have more of a problem." I gulped and silence filled the room. Nico fiddled with his skull ring and finally looked up. "Well now you know, when do we start? Eris will not wait for long."

I nodded furiously and looked at Dumbledore.

"As soon as we can Mr di Angelo, as soon as we can."

A/N: Dun dun duuuuuh!

Do you like my chosen antagonist? Eris isn't one I've seen used before, and it was suggested by zarashaikh243 on Instagram. Thanks also to @HufflepuffMarvelFan for giving me the idea for the prophecy! This wouldn't be what it is without you guys!
