"You're not feeling well, are you?"

I look up from the depths of the cashiers' table, rubbing my forehead because I've had my migraine and was currently forcing myself to go to overdrive to work the night-shift. "Hey, it isn't that big of a deal, what could my migraine to do a willing person like me?" I kid around, feigning a smile to assure that I was alright. She doesn't seem to be believing it though. "Lydia, you should really stop overworking yourself! Relsai isn't the kind of boss that decreases you wage if you don't come for a day or two... besides, we all know how much you helped him when he first started this restaurant- which he had zero experience and mind to do so." I sigh inwardly and try to think up of a retort to back up my statement earlier, and undoubtedly fail because of the very obvious pain I was currently in. "F-fine... I'll just pack up my bags and go home, tell the rest of the team ok?" She smiles reassuringly, then proceeds to serve a waiting customer.

Jeez, I haven't had such a pain-in-the-head for so long. It must be the reason why I couldn't handle it I guess... migraines are uncommon, right? I pack the only things I have: my phone, a wallet of a bundle of cash and a jacket because reasons. I check the time on my phone and groan; it was just 8P.M. Meaning that I had to deal with this headache of mine until I sleep, because I usually slept that late. Anyways! I shoved the phone into the pocket of my jeans and walked out the employee room, waving at the staff as I walked out the door.

It was a rather unusual night, it would usually be howling with wind from all sides; hence the jacket I packed. But today seemed eerily quiet and creepy with no one walking in a busy city like this and at this hour... there would always be some kind of sound to clear that ringing sound in my ears, but today... was different. I glanced at the dark corners of the street, as if a monster would just pop out of it and drag me into the eternal darkness. Shaking my head, I tried to focus on getting back to my residence rather than dwell in that dangerous head of mine. And as if the silence couldn't get any quieter, the sound of footsteps started to sound. A single entity walking, walking, walking. The noise gets closer and closer, being the idiotic person I was; I froze right under the spotlight from a street lamp, unable to move and speak. I closed my eyes and feared the worst... tap...tap...tap... then a single voice spoke. "Do you want a drink?"

The voice sounded human enough, so I pried my eyes open and what it revealed was a little boy... "Wh-where are your parents?" His strange smile faltered for a second before being brighter than before. "O-oh they're just around the corner over there in the darkness... do you want a drink?" I eyed the boy suspiciously, he was certainly young no doubt, not any older than 10 or so... and what drink had a weird 'drink me' sign on it? I rubbed my eyes as I squated down to the childs' eye level and began to open my mouth. "Is everything alright now? Are you lost? Wait I can call the police, hold on while I grab my pho-" "NO!"

The sudden outburst makes me flinch while I stood up -taken aback- but I look at him inquisitively, what did he really want? "P-please just drink this, I need you to drink this..." I look at the strange corked-glass bottle again, before sighing and gently taking out of his hands. The childs' eyes sparkle with joy and hope for reasons I won't understand... ah what the heck, I'll just drink this thing and bring him to the police. I uncorked the bottle and held it towards my face before chugging down the liquid... it tasted... odd. What's... happening... everything's so... "Kid... what... did you put in that... drink..."

GASP! I retched and coughed my eyes out as I wake on the strange smooth ground, rubbing my head as I slowly adjust to the darkeness. I blinked a few times before steadying my body that was currently in a sitting-position... before noticing something potentially faint-worthy. Everything was so... big. I looked around the room; nothing more than a bed, a wardrobe, and some pictures on a stupdendously huge drawer. My pulse immediately began to skyrocket- I wasn't one to stay calm in a situation like this, not like anyone could've predicted what it would've felt to be in one. I suddenly feel busy as my vision began to swoon and deplete, before the gargantuan door swung open.
