"Bring it in!"

A flash of light dawned on my petty self as I was brought into the chamber of the giantess queen. With the sparkles of jewelry and stolen treasures from the extinct human kingdom by here side, a queen sat high upon her chair with a smirk on her lips. And to complete the set, a small porcelain plate with a golden pair of cutlery arranged quite etiquettely on a golden table.

My lifeless eyes wandered about, looking at paintings of their so-called wonderful generals... and the real ones that were present in her majesty's presence. At this point, it was becomingly more painfully obvious and inevitable of what was about to come... and what would that be you ask? Oh it's nothing, I'm just about to get eaten alive by the self righteous bitch she is to end my kind.

"So, has the bug properly behaved on his torturous way here?" She asked, with a slight pitch of distaste in her words.

Her butler, one of the very few to even consider me a conscious and intelligent being with feelings, answered in kind with a simple nod of his head. He gestured a curtsy before bringing me unto and upon my predator, and without a single word... left without treating his eyes to the extinction of a species they've wanted dead for centuries.

And as the room became silent, the generals that'd sat in their respective corners came a collective but silent agreement to smirk at me. With their gloves and their madly decorated war-coats they stroked their mustache before gesturing a go-ahead.

"Then, we shall proceed with the death of the last of it's kind." And with a pitiful glare from her and a swift wave of her hand, I was dropped unceremoniously on her plate.

"Don't worry bug, you'll be sent to wherever the hell your other little vermin friends went and remember, it's nothing personal." Her hand rose and took it's time before picking a suitable tool of impalement before settling on a ordinary silver fork.

With her hand raised high above my already lifeless body I watched her as she lowered... and lowered... and lowered the fork into my body. It was as if the world had suddenly slowed... and through the penetration of my chest... I couldn't feel a thing. There was no sudden flares of undeniable pain, no blood squirting or pouring out in masses out of my body... just... nothing.

Was this it? Was this how... death truly felt like? My body went limp as my vision blurred, the queen's face distorting and time bending around what felt like a dream. But as she lifted the fork up, my body suddenly remembered the feeling of pain and mortal suffering. I screamed indefinitely. I cursed, shouted and poured my voice out for their amusement.

But strangely, though the pain felt very real... it never succeeded to overwhelm me or carry me off into the land of the dead. And as I was lowered into her mouth, I closed my eyes and braced for the swift death of my head being crushed in... but yet again... something was... preventing her to end me. I felt the fork pull away from my body and as my eyes widened I noticed: there was no hole, there was no guts spilling out or blood spurting and splurging out of my body. As if death couldn't get any weirder, something prevented me from even touching her tongue or even breathing in any putrid air; I was encased in some kind of 'bubble'.

As my mind began to calm and the pain faded into a dull ebb I finally got the idea: I wasn't going to die...yet. But as my mind finally came to a halt a quake bellowed from bellow. Being tossed around in a confined space, not to mention the fact that it wasn't the most ideal or mortally encouraging place, I came unto a conclusion that she was walking or moving to... somewhere. It was at this moment fear started to set, the emotions that were sucked out of me a few minutes ago came racing back towards me as if my soul had been returned from the underworld.
