As they pulled up to the hotel, Nicholas saw his car parked on the side of the road. "Zoey." He said. As soon as they parked the car, he opened the car door and sprinted inside. He saw a note sitting on one of the couches. It had his name in calligraphy on the front, he opened it, it said:
Nicholas
meet me in the attic
~Zoey~
He saw his parents walked through the doors. All of their friends crowded around them. He heard someone say, "Why are her eyes amber?" Before he closed the door to the attic. "Zoey?" He asked the empty air.
"I'm....I'm over here." He heard her shaky voice come from behind some old boxes. He moved the boxes to see her staring at the stick from 9 months ago. He looked at the sentence she was looking at, Beware the eyes of amber. His face fell. "We have to tell them." Zoey said, panic flickering in her eyes like a flame on a candle.
"We can't!" Nicholas said. Nicholas turns to you, "Well, reader." He starts, "Its up to you."
