Synopsis :

Qu Xiaofeng, the beloved ninth princess of the Western Liang Kingdom, is promised to the Crown Prince of Li Dynasty in a political marriage between the two countries. Under the deliberate arrangement by Gu Jian, fifth prince Li Chengyin disguises as an ordinary tea merchant by the name Gu Xiaowu, and meets Qu Xiaofeng. They fell in love with each other as Li Chengyin tried to gain her trust to infiltrate Dan Chi, the kingdom ruled by Xiaofeng's grandfather, in order to gain war merits to become the new Crown Prince. After discovering the truth behind Li Chengyin's intentions, she jumps down the River of Forgetfulness to forget the painful memories. Li Chengyin, shocked at Xiaofeng's decision, follows suit.

So, I decided to watch this drama, and it didn't disappoint me. One of the best cdrama ever. The title itself is a major spoiler. So yeah, prepare your heart if you guys decide to watch this. Even my heart can't handle this drama well because it's damn sad. It's hurting me. First and foremost, I REALLY LOVE THE ACTORS AND ACTRESS. I just finished this drama and I freaking can't move on from Chen Xingxu. HE'S HOT. HIS DEEP VOICE. HIS SMILE. I LOVE EVERYTHING. and Peng Xiaoran is sooo beautiful <3 she's so gorgeous in this drama. her clothes here is life <3 Moving on to the story, again, the title is already sad. Imagine the story. The ost make it even sadder. I really love Xiaofeng. Although she is naive and a bit childish, but I can't hate her. I love how carefree she is. Her giggle. Whenever she's happy, I felt happier. When she's sad, I felt sadder. I actually hope for a happy ending for Xiaofeng because she suffered a lot, but as the story goes by, I gave up my hope. Honestly, Xiaofeng deserve the world :') Throughout the drama, I really feel her. Her pain. Her sadness. Everything. There are times when I really wanna hug her and comfort her :') same goes with Li Chengyin. Sometimes I wanna slap him so bad, but sometimes I pity him. Not forgetting Gu Jian, there are times that I really am annoyed with him. Whenever Xiaofeng is hurt, I internally scream for them to stop hurting her. Because for real, I really felt her pain. I might be the only one but I don't think I had a second lead syndrome. Maybe because my focus are on the main lead xD At one point I nearly drop this drama because I can't handle the pain. You know, when you can imagine what is going to happen next and you can already feel the pain. yeah. that kind of pain. There are some scene that a bit boring for me but it's bearable xD If you decide to watch this drama, get ready for the roller coaster of emotion. And I advise y'all to prepare tissues or towel because for real, YOU WILL CRY. Chen Xingxu and Peng Xiaoran did a brilliant job. I feel so devastated after I finish this drama. You'll know why after you done with this xD and fyi, there's a video of the main lead singing the ost. go check it out.
