*next day*

Jake's pov

we are going to cleveland ohio. we packed a little bit of clothes cause we're only staying for 2 days. we're gonna talk to my parents. damn i haven't seen them and heard of them from a long ass time. in fact i pretty sure they think i'm still the same. and i know they won't be expecting me getting married.

E: okay you ready

J: yeah let's go

we go to the airport and do the whole process. then we finally get on the plane and erika is sitting next to me.

J: baby i'm so nervous

E: why

J: cause.. i told you about my past

E: yeah but look at you now jake. you have a good ass job... a roof over your head... and you don't drink no more... there's nothing better than that

J: yeah there is

E: what

J: i have you

E: aw baby

J: your the reason why all of this happened... if it weren't for you... i don't think i would've became the person i am today

and we just continue to talk.

couple hours later. we finally arrived at cleveland ohio. ahh i'm so excited and nervous.

we get off the plane and get an uber. and we uber to my old house.

i stand in front of it with erika next to me holding my hand.

E: you ready ?

J: yeah let's do this

and i start walking. i ring the doorbell. i look at erika nervously.

E: hey no matter what happens just know i love you and i'm always gonna be by your side

i kiss her.

J: thanks i appreciate it

then i move erika to the side so when someone opens the door they won't see her. i just wanna see their reaction after the see me.

then the door starts to open and it's my mom !

M: AH MY BABY

J: hi mom !

i said smiley and happily.

and we hug.

M: oh my god i missed you sooo much... greg come here now.

he comes and looks at me. i smile a little.

J: hi dad

D: hi son.. come here give me a hug

and i give him a hug.

D: so what brings you here ?

J: i'll answer all of your questions after but right now i want you to meet my girlfriend/ fiancé.. Erika

and i grab her hand and she comes. my dad looks shocked and happy. my mom looks super happy.

E: hi i'm erika

she puts out her hand to shake my dad's hand.

D: hi i'm greg

and she let's go and shakes my mom's hand.
