Hear what I have to say
I'm screaming at you mama but nothing comes out
It's like talking to a brick wall and you say the same
I hear you mama but I don't listen
I wont until you can hear me
I make a mess and thrash about
To get your attention mama
But you still cant hear me
You punish me for trying everything I can
To make you listen
All I want to tell you is that I'm broken
That I'm bruised on the inside
That I need someone there for me
You say you have a man go to him
I try to tell him my thoughts
He just shuts me up
I tell him I'm hurt real bad inside
He tries to avoid helping me cope
Do you even hear me

It goes in one ear and out the other
He says it not like you listen to me
I hear you baby but I don't listen
I won't until you can hear me
Listen to me and not ignore me
I have demons in my head and they need to come out
Why wont some just help me
Help me get them out
I need someone to listen
