Stuff Happens (Sesshomaru X OC)

Chapter Thirty One

~Akane~

Naraku's scent was all over this place, as expected though we are inside him after all, besides that this place was a maze so we haven't had any luck catching Rin's scent.

At least Sesshomaru and i haven't been separated yet, we came across Kagome and protected her from demons because she could lead us to Naraku's heart, the shikon jewel, i think "You've been driving away those demons all this time?"Kagome asked "That wound, is it Inuyasha's doing?"Sesshomaru asked ignoring her question "Yeah"Kagome muttered "Him being a half demon, i assume Naraku's darkness overcame him"Sesshomaru said and we continued the way.

"Wait!"Kagome called but we didn't, we had more important things in mind like finding Rin, though Kagome caught up after a while "Sesshomaru your nose is as sharp as Inuyasha's isn't it? Aren't you able to locate Rin?"Kagome asked "I'd say our noses are even sharper then Inuyasha's but there's nothing except Naraku's retched stench in here"i told her as we continued walking.

Kagome then gasped "Look Rin's right there"she said "That is only an illusion"Sesshomaru said, Rin's scent wasn't anywhere near this place, Naraku's presence was also overwhelming my unusually sharp intuition i had nothing except a bad feeling as we walked around, i learned to accept and ignore it though and my drive to find Rin also helped ignoring it.

Then all of the sudden we finally caught scent of Rin, Rin i'm so glad you're alright "She's close by, we have to fly"Sesshomaru said before taking off, i followed him, Kagome held onto Sesshomaru's Mokomoko-sama "You know where she is?"Kagome asked "Inuyasha is there with her"Sesshomaru said "Inuyasha is there too?"Kagome asked "However he remains in demon form"Sesshomaru said, i growled a bit "I'll kill that mutt if he touches a single hair on her head"i said.

"Lord Sesshomaru, Akane!"Rin called as she was being sucked into the floor "Rin!"i called going on ahead but i just missed her before jumping back as Inuyasha came over, Inuyasha pulled out Tessaiga "Magatsuhi you chose the wrong person to possess"Sesshomaru said drawing Tenseiga, so that bastard was in control.

"I shall slay you along with Inuyasha"Sesshomaru said, Inuyasha launched a meido but it completely missed, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha fought, i stayed back with Kagome watching them, "Interesting now that your mind and body are in demon form it makes you tougher then usual"Sesshomaru said as there was a brake it the fight "Showing no mercy to your own brother, you must really hate Inuyasha"Magatsuhi said before attacking again "I don't feel anything towards him i've never considered that half demon my brother"Sesshomaru said drawing Tenseiga and the fight resumed.

I still stayed behind but moved with the fight to have a good view of it, i love a good fight, Kagome got Tessaiga and started falling, i was going to catch her but she caught herself with Tessaiga, it seemed the scent of her blood snapped Inuyasha out of it.

I jumped over to Sesshomaru watching closely, we spotted our chance and Sesshomaru jumped over, i followed to have a good view, Inuyasha's demonic vortex trapped Magatsuhi and Sesshomaru was finally able to finish it off for good this time but Rin was still trapped somewhere within Naraku, i couldn't find it in myself to relax until she was safe.

The whole place shook and we left in search of Rin, able to detect her scent in this mass of Naraku thanks to Kagome's powers of purification, multiple lights started shining around inside Naraku as well, the light of the shikon jewel if we follow it we'll find Naraku but Rin came first so we ignored the light following her scent.

And arrived just in time to see Sango try kill Rin, luckily she just barely missed, Sesshomaru threw the Hiraikotsu at Byakuya after we listened to his explanation that it was an illusion of Naraku, regardless of that fact Sango had tried to kill Rin "If that was intended for me you've got the wrong person Sesshomaru but my guess is you were listening to our conversation so i'll leave you to settle this"Byakuya said before leaving.

I glared at Sango but listened to what she had to say, Sesshomaru gave me a look and i went over to her grabbing her collar "Listen here, Kohaku had tried to kill Rin too but we were able to forgive him because he wasn't in control, illusion or not you consciously chose to sacrifice Rin out of your own free will, you won't die here, nor after Naraku's defeat, but rest assured one day you will die and it will be by mine or Sesshomaru's hands, or maybe not, maybe we'll forget or you redeem yourself whichever one comes first"i shrugged a bit before going over to check on Rin.

A light appeared again, this time Naraku's scent was coming from it so we knew it wasn't an illusion, it could be a trap but we followed the light regardless, Naraku's miasma appeared covering the place as Rin was coming to, i watched as Sango put her mask on Rin, ha don't think you're forgiven yet, Sango went on ahead risking her life by not having her mask, though the miasma was no problem for us demons.

As we were catching up to Sango our path was blocked but with a simple Power Slash from me we continued our way, but our path was continuously blocked still no matter how many time we were blocked i always sliced them with Power Slash though as we were blocked by a wall to think for me to slice we took another way and were blocked again but this time Sesshomaru used Bakusaiga to clear the way, honestly about time he did so.

Sesshomaru continued to clear the way with his Bakusaiga and claws and my Power Slash, we came across Jaken but basically ignored him as we continued, we finally made it to where Naraku's real body was, i stood next to Sesshomaru glaring at Naraku "So you're finally here, you and your so called friends"Naraku said "Yeah, all of us, everyone survived"Inuyasha said.
