Chapter 15: Spy & New Guild

When I walk to the center of town I close my eyes and expand my magical aura to search the whole town. After a few minutes I found the person who was spying on us when we were in the house.

I debate how I should approach this person and then I decided to go with a teleport to him when he's asleep. As I am waiting for him to head toward his house I start thinking on what happened to this town and how long after I left did the town get invaded.

[maybe after I confront the spy I will go look into the guild and see what has changed. Maybe the guild masters descendants are running it now]: riku

The spy finally moved and made their way back to their house to rest, with this change I took action and teleported to his house and made myself invisible to sneak up behind him.

Who is this man he was able to sense me even when I suppress my power to as low as I can get it. Well I guess I will show myself and ask him these questions.

As the man turned around I seen his face and it look familiar but I couldn't completely match it. Did I meet him on my journey?

[... 2 weeks after you left hoards of S rank monsters came to town and attacked us and we were utterly destroyed and had to gather who we could and move here]: kaito

So it sounds like the monsters attacked after I left. Is that because monsters can sense magical presence and were smart enough to avoid it.

[i'm still not seeing why I should make you younger]: riku

When I snap my fingers his age is reduced to 30 but he is still 679. I basically made him have a normal half demon-kin's age range. He should be happy with this right?

When I finish lowering our power we head to the new guild and go inside. It's a big hall bigger than the previous one. Now time to register for the guild.

[hey are we going to use fake names or real ones?]: riku

[we can use our real names because its been over 300 years since you were here and they will most likely have thrown out your paperwork]: kaito

[well then let's use our real first names but same last name.]: riku

[then let's use your last name I will claim to be your dad ok?]: kaito
