-Capital Gates-

[halt, who are you thinking you can walk in without showing identification]: guard

[Kiko you guys really need to train your guards to show better manners]: riku

[sgh. I am Riku Akiyama and this is my wife Kiko Akiyama also known as the princess of the capital.]: riku

[honey show him your nobel documents]: kiko

As the guard came to attack us I pull out my noble documents and put them in the guards face. As he looked at them he began to show fear in his eyes. No the documents it said Knight and Prince, the document was updated before I left the capital after I married Kiko.

[I am so sorry, sir please forgive my ignorance and punish me as you see fit]: guard

Even though he is ignorant he still has pride I will let him off this once.

After walking through town I can see some new buildings have been made and the capitals square has been improved. As I walk toward the castle I can see the Magic Academy, it had been enlarged by a bit. In 9 years one of my students have most likely become a teacher at the Academy. Well we can find out later for now we need to go to the castle and say hi to the king.

-Castle Gates-

[halt]: guard

[it's ok I am Riku here are my documents and please don't tell the king we want to surprise him, ok?]: riku

As the guard looks over the documents he gives us a head nod and lets us pass through.

[ok Sora are you ready to meet grandpa?]: kiko

[yes mom I wanna meet grandpa]: sora

Walking through the corridors we reach the doors to the throne room as we enter we see a lonely man sitting on the throne. The feeling inside of my heart is sinking because the king is sulking on his throne counting the seconds until his daughter will come back.

[father i'm home]: kiko

[huh?]: king

[hey father]: riku

[my-my-my daughter, and my step son]: king

[we came back early as a surprise but it seems we made you wait for a bit to long]: riku

[no you came back just in time... who is that?]: king

Looking behind his daughter the king notices a little boy about the age of 9 and his questions start coming.

[who is this boy? Where did he come from?]: king

[father meet Sora, your grandchild]: kiko

[my, grand-child?]: king

[yes he is turning 9 today so we brought him here to celebrate his 9th birthday]: kiko

[... Sora is it? Come here for a second]: king

Sora looks at Kiko then me and I look at him with the go to him look. Sora then approaches the king.

[hi grandpa my name is Sora]: sora

The king picks up Sora and sits him on his lap then starts to talk with him.

[who is your mom?]: king

Sora points at Kiko, as if that was a stupid question.

[well then who is your dad?]: king

Again the same look and same point but towards me this time.

[so your parents are those too?]: king

[yes mom and dad taught me everything from fighting to literature.]: sora

[are you guys his real parents?]: king

[yes Kiko gave birth to him 9 months after we left the capital]: riku

[oh, I see, then Sora you are to inherit the throne after I die that is the start of my gifts to you today, I will make up for 9 birthdays I missed with 9 big presents]: king

[Kiko I think this will be good bonding time for them let's go fine everyone else]: riku

[hold it you 2, before you go, I will throw a big party for your return tonight so be here by dusk, ok?]: king

[got it we will be here for dinner]: kiko

[ok let's go now Kiko]: riku

We left Sora with the king in the throne room while Kiko and I go to her room for some fun time. After that we head out to find Kaito and my students.

Scanning the area with my magic I found Kaito at the Magic Academy. On our way over there we stop by a food stand to get something to eat. Then head to the academy.

-Academy-

When we enter the academy we are greeted by some students who ask if we were lost and needed help.

[can you show us to where Kaito is please]: riku

[oh, professor Kaito is in a class right now]: student

[oh so he works here?]: riku

[yes, he is the top recommended teacher here]: student

[well can you escort us to his classroom?]: riku

[sure, follow me please]: student

When reaching the classroom I realize that it is my old room. As we enter the room the student that escorted us interrupts Kaito as he is giving a lesson.

[sir, there are 2 students that wish to speak with you]: student

[how many times have I told you to not interrupt me when I am teaching]: kaito

As Kaito turns to scold the student he sees me and Kiko.
