Chapter 11

Lena's POV
Lex. He's broken out of prison. They don't know where he is. They'll probably blame me. Say that I hate Supergirl so broke him out so he can help me or something like that. I rub my eyes and shake my head.

I sit on my chair as my phone starts to ring. It's Kara. Probably calling about Lex. I decline. She rings again. I decline. It keeps going until I hear a scream outside then he walks in.

"Lena. I hear you now hate supers."
"Lex."

Kara's POV
Lena stopped declining after a while. I don't know if that means she's annoyed so threw her phone out the window or something is wrong. I want to fly over but I have a feeling she'll probably shoot me with that gun again.

I get an idea. I pick up my phone and call the number. It rings a few times before I get an answer.
"Jess? It's Kara."
"K...Kara. Help.... L...Lex....he's here."

I hang up and rush over to L-Corp.
The first thing I see is Jess, lying on the ground in a pool of her own blood. I pick her up and fly her to a hospital.
"Help! I need help! She's been stabbed!"
Nurses and doctors rush over and take her. When I know that she's in good hands, I fly back to L-Corp. I burst in but Lena's office is empty.
Where is she? What if Lex has taken her? What if she's DEAD?!
I don't know what happened. I need to think rationally.
I call Alex through my ear piece.
"Alex?"
"Supergirl are you ok?"
"I'm fine. It's Lena. I think Lex has taken her. Call everyone and tell them to come to my apartment ASAP."
"Will do."
I hang up and fly over to my apartment.

Lena's POV
I'm at our old house with Lex. He's showing me everything he had built years ago.
"Now that you have finally come around to see supers as they are, I can show you my inventions and we can take them both down together. The Luthors."
"What about mother?"
"She's on her way."
"You broke her out as well?"
He nods. "She didn't believe me at first when I said that you hate Supergirl. Then she watched that little speech you did on the news."
I nod. "What I said was true. Supergirl is a liar. She wants to protect the city and isn't afraid to hurt those around her."
"So you know who she is."
"Yes. She's Ka-"
"Kara Danvers. Reporter for CatCo and former best friend of Lena Luthor. Cousins with Clark Kent. Superman. Lex Luthor's former best friend."
"That's why you hate them so much."
He turns to me. "What do you mean?"
"Clark betrayed you and lied to you and it hurt. Like Supergirl did to me."
He nods. "He said that he would never lie to me again after he told me he couldn't meet up with me because of work, but was actually seeing Lois Lane. But he did. Throughout our whole friendship."
"Dick."
He laughs. "Very true."

A few minutes later while I inspect his devices, I hear the door open.
"Mother!"
Lex hugs her and she turns to me.
"Lena. How are you darling?"
"I'm good."
"Now that you're both here, I want to tell you my plan."

Kara's POV
Once everyone had arrived I told them the situation.
"Lex has taken Lena. We need to find her."
James speaks first. "How do we know that she didn't go willingly? She claims she hates you, as much as her brother hates Superman."
"No. She would never do that. This is Lena we're talking about. She may be a Luthor but she is not one of them. Now, how do we find them?"

For a few minutes we exchange ideas. None of them will work. I groan and Alex pats my leg.
"We'll find her Kara. Don't worry."
A few more minutes go by before Brainy speaks up. "Instead of looking for Lena, why don't we look for Lex."
Everyone stops and thinks.
"Of course! Lena hasn't gone somewhere that she wants to go, she's gone somewhere he wants to go!"
I think for a moment.
"I don't know anything about Lex."
Alex turns to me. "But you know someone who does."
Kal. "But he's-"
"I know he's not exactly here right now. You don't need to bring him back just ask him if possible hideout locations that Lex used." I nod. J'onn hands me something.
"I knew that you'd eventually need Clark. He told me to give this to you only in emergencies. It enables you to talk to him."
I smile gratefully and hug J'onn. "Thank you."

I then call Kal.
"Kara?"
"Kal! Thank Rao."
"What's wrong? I told J'onn to give this to you for emergencies."
"Lex escaped and he's taken Lena. I need to know of any locations he would hideout at."
"Do you want me to come back and help?"
"No! You stay. You're happy there. I just need locations."
"Ok. Well the first one is his cave."
I grab a pen and pad and write down the coordinates of each place.
"Last but not least he may go back to his old house. However, it has this shield making it invisible. You need a code."
"Do you know what the code is?"
"No. Sorry Kara."
"It's fine. He might not be there."
"True."
"Thank you Kal."
"My pleasure Kara. Calm me if you need me."
"I will."
I hang up.

I turn to everyone. "There are 11 possible locations. We better get started."

The next day
We are down to our last three locations.
"It's not the underground lair. Nothing in there."
Two locations.
"He's not at the abandoned theme park."
One location.
"He has to be at his old house. One problem though."
Alex frowns. "What?"
"He has this protective shield around it making it and everyone inside it invisible. We need a code to shut it down."
Alex groans. "Why does he have to be so smart."
I laugh slightly.

Brainy comes over. "What if we hide in the forest around it and wait for someone to use the code?"
I turn to Alex. "That could work."
She nods. "I'll send a team tomorrow and they'll-"
"I'm going. This is the last location. He has to be there. I don't want anyone getting hurt that isn't him."
She nods. "Be careful. You don't know what he's got in that house."
I nod and fly towards the house. When there, I crouch behind a bush in the forest and wait.

For a couple hours the only people to go in or out are guards. They come out every 30 minutes and patrol the area. After another hour, a car comes and stops at the gate. I use my X-ray vision to look into the car. I don't know who the driver is, probably one of Lex's minions, but I do know the woman in the back. Lillian Luthor.

The driver puts his hand out the window and types in the code.
8295.
He presses enter and then the house appears and the gate opens, letting them in. They then drive further and stop outside the house. Lillian gets out, goes inside and then the house disappears.
There must be a button inside they press so the house disappears.
The driver then comes back out and drives away.

I press on my ear piece.
"Alex?"
"I'm here Supergirl."
"I know the code to get in. Lex didn't just break himself out, he broke Lillian out as well. She just went in."
I hear her sigh.
"Come back and we will make a plan to storm in."
"No. I have to go in now. What if by the time we have a plan they've gone? Or they've killed Lena?"
"You can't go in without any back up. They might have kryptonite."
"We need lookouts to tell us if they leave though."
"I've already sent a team to your location who will keep watch. Come back."
I sigh reluctantly but start going back to the DEO.

I land and go inside, seeing Alex already begin making a plan with Winn and Brainy.
"What you got so far?"
"We have a plan."

A/N If you haven't realised I posted this a day earlier than planned. I'm going to start updating everyday now!
However, I start college on Friday so I don't know if I'll be able to update everyday after then but I will try my best!
