Chapter 14

Lena's POV
I'm on my way up to Kara's apartment. It's just about to be 7 when I knock on her door. I hear her footsteps coming towards the door and when she opens it, she is stood there smiling broadly in her pyjamas. I smile at how cute she looks.
"You don't mind the pyjamas do you?"
"Definitely not. You look very adorable."
She smiles even wider. She stands to the side and I go in. When she shuts the door I turn to look at her. I step closer and place my hands on her cheeks. She wraps her arms around my waist, pulling me as close as she can. We both lean in and her lips meet mine in a short but passionate kiss.
"Nice to see you to." I laugh and untangle myself from her arms.

I go to her couch and sit. She sits right next to me and puts her hand on my lap. The other holds one of mine.
"What did you want to talk about?"
"Well. Now that we're... more than friends, I want to make sure we're in the same page. I am seeing Kara Danvers."
She looks confused.
"What?"
"I'm seeing Kara Danvers, not Supergirl. So if we're in public and you are Supergirl, we can't kiss or hold hands or do anything romantic otherwise people would think I'm cheating on Supergirl or would make the connection."
She frowns but nods. "It's going to be difficult to keep away from you when you're so irresistible."
I smile and my cheeks heat up.

"Can I ask you something?"
I nod.
"I don't want to rush things but, what're we exactly?"
"Whatever you want us to be."
"Well we've already said that we love each other so we've skipped ahead a bit." I giggle.
"So, Lena Luthor, do you want to be my girlfriend?"
She has the biggest smile on her face I have ever seen and her eyes are glistening.
"I would love to, Kara Danvers."
She pulls me in for a hug and I return it.
"I love you."
I can't contain my smile when she says those three words.
"I love you too."
We kiss again, this one full of love.

"Do you want to watch a movie?"
I nod. She's about to go and look before she notices my clothes.
"Do you want to borrow some of my clothes? They'll be comfier."
"Yes. Please."
I follow her to her bedroom and she picks out a pair of leggings and a jumper that will definitely be too big for me.
"Here." She smiles and pecks my lips before walking out to pick a movie.

I go to the bathroom and get changed. The sweater gives me sweater paws. It smells like Kara and I inhale the scent. I am definitely keeping this.
I go to the couch and spot Kara waiting. "You've already picked a film?"
She turns and smiles. "Yes. That sweater is a bit big. Did you want another one?"
"No. I love this one. I'm keeping it."
She laughs but nods. "It's fine. I have plenty."
She pats the spot next to her and I go round the couch and sit. We snuggle together and she presses play. It's Star Wars. I giggle.
"What?"
"I know that Winn loves these films but I didn't know you did."
"I wasn't bothered until Winn made me watch the first one. After that we sat and watched the rest."
I smile and kiss her lightly on the cheek, her skin soft under my lips. Her cheeks go red and she snuggles into me more. I start to play with her hair as we watch the movie.

Kara's POV
The movie just ended and I turn the TV off. The only sound is the soft snores coming from Lena.
How did I get so lucky?
I untangle myself from her and pick her up bridal style. She shifts and gets comfortable and then I carry her to the bedroom. I place her down on my bed and put the covers over her. I go round to the other side and get in.

She instantly and subconsciously cuddles into me and I wrap my arms around her. She stirs slightly and I look down, my eyes meeting her green ones.
"Did you carry me?"
I nod.
"Do I weigh anything to you?"
I giggle and shake my head.

She leans her head up and pecks my lips. "I'm so happy."
I smile shyly. "Me too. You mean the world to me."
She blushes. "You have no idea how long I've wanted this. I love you."
"I love you too."

Lena looks at me with tired eyes. "Are we going to tell all of your friends?"
I nod. "I'm sure that the way I look at you and act around you would give it away anyway."
She smiles. "When do you want to do it?"
I think for a moment. "Game night?"
She smiles and nods. I kiss her gently before she snuggles into me and falls asleep. The quiet snores are the sound that puts me to sleep.

At game night
Once everyone had arrived, we decided on teams. We have an extra person because Alex invites Kelly again. J'onn volunteered to be the banker for monopoly and the rest of us get into twos. Alex and Kelly, James And Winn, Brainy and Nia and me and Lena.

We play for a few hours, people drinking and eating. After we had finished the game, I grab everyone's attention. "Guys! I have something to tell you."
Everyone stops and listens.
I clear my throat and look at Lena. She nods reassuringly.
"Me and Lena are together."
I take her hand and smile at everyone.

There's a silent pause before everyone turns to another person.
"Told ya so!"
"Pay up."
"You owe me $30"
Me and Lena share an amused look.
"Did you all bet on this."
They nod and I roll my eyes.

"It was so obvious that you were into each other. I bet James $25 that you would get together. He agreed. He didn't even think that you two likes each other." Winn laughs.
"I bet Brainy $20 that something would happen between you two."
"And I bet Kelly that Kara would be the one to announce it coz we both knew that you would get together."
Kelly nods. "It was very obvious."

Me and Lena giggle. "Great! That means that I can now do this."
I turn to Lena and pull her close. Her lips meet mine half way. It's gentle and soft and I can hear the others in the background.
"Get a room!"
"Gross."
"I don't want to nor need to see that."
"I do not understand what is happening."
"I think it's cute."
"I'm happy for them."
"I definitely don't have a chance now."

We pull away and blush and giggle.
When I look at the others they are other rolling their eyes, looking away or smiling.
"Anyway. I think we should get going."
Everyone nods and Lena turns to me.
"Can I stay tonight?"
I smile.
"Of course."

Everyone starts to leave.
"Do you want to borrow some clothes?"
"Are you sure that's a good idea? I did steal your clothes last time."
I lead her to my bedroom.
"I'm sure. I love you. I can just buy new clothes."
"I love you too. Thank you."

I go to my draw and take out a top and shorts. Short shorts. I hand them to her and she goes to the bathroom to change. I grab my own clothes and change quickly. A few minutes later Lena walks out.
"Did you give me these on purpose?"
I grin at her mischievously.
"Maybe. Maybe not."
She rolls her eyes.

She steps closer and wraps her arms around my neck. I pull her close by the waist and begin to lean in. She stops me by putting her finger against my lips. I frown. She then takes my hands and moves them. Downwards. I blush and my eyes widen as she smirks.
"Is this not why you gave me these?"
She smirks wider and I bite my lip. I then take her by surprise by squeezing slightly.

"Hey!" She hits me slightly and I laugh. She then leans in and so do I. The kiss is long and passionate and we only break apart so that Lena can catch her breath. I smile and she takes my hand, leading me to the bed. She gets in and pays the space next to her. As soon as I settle in, she wraps her arms around me and cuddles into my neck. I kiss her on the forehead and pull her closer.

"I love you."
She looks up and smiles.
"I love you too."
